INTRO TO THIS WEEK >>

Right now I am writing to you from a library in West Yellowstone, Wyoming. I am the ONLY one in here, but they told me I HAD to wear a stupid mask. What is the world coming to?

And, because I am not sure if I will have a wifi connection tomorrow, Friday, I will put this out on Thursday night.

Photos are still not working with WordPress. So, go to my Facebook page, click on Blog 82,  and look for photos at the bottom of the page >>

Every week, on Friday, when I get the blog posted, it makes me so happy. As you know, every week I try to get you to try new things, think in different ways, and change your life for the better. I do hope I am accomplishing that. This same joy was once found in my juggling.

As you might know, I have been a juggler for most of my life. This was such a passion for me at one time. I would work everything “around” my juggling and practice. I put juggling before eating, sleep, and even sex.

Juggling and advancement for me brought joy. I’ve been able to apply this same drive toward other areas in my life. You know that the world can get so very noisy and complicated away from being focused.

Juggling was my way to get my mind out of the world, the noisy mind that would think in all directions. You see, this skill requires so much focus that you cannot think of other things. When I was juggling 5 clubs and/or throwing them behind my back, nothing else mattered.

For you, teach yourself this total focus for some way to maintain your mind seeing right. By reading, by your work, by your play, something to take your mind to another place. This will broaden your life. Learn this focus.

This same focus I wish I would have put more of into my relationships. At this point, at the age of 61, I am alone in the world. Will this continue until my eventual death? I’m glad you are there, Marialuisa, you bring joy and hope to my mind.

If you need to, find this focus for your life and change your present experiences to build a better future. You have dreamed of what you want out of life—make it happen for yourself, starting NOW! Do this no matter what age you might be.

Look at me, I live in a van and travel the country with little money. Yet, this lifestyle brings me joy and satisfaction beyond belief. Every day is different and I love that.

You may want to leave the life you currently know and choose alternatives that might be more attractive, more pleasant, and more normal (whatever normal might mean.)

But, don’t fool yourself, this path might lead you nowhere. Expand and challenge yourself to find an even better life than you are living now. Never forget, this is the ONLY life you will ever have. If you are not finding joy and happiness, it is time for a change.

Toward this new life, you must find focus.
Do you pay close attention to what you do?
These words you are currently reading, are you focused on or just looking at words?

How about your focusing on the way you sit, are you?

As you live your life, learn to focus. You might say you do, but I mean in detailwith everything. If you break things down and make all the little parts of life better, your entire life will advance. Make total focus a new habit for you.

For a better life, your focus must burn! Make it a habit to see your entire life and focus on little things. The more you make all the “little” things better in your life, the better your existence will be. It will also help when you become “anxious” toward something.

Yes, this way of thinking includes when becoming troubled or anxious toward something. When things build-up to the point of getting bothered, I simply “Let it go”. I tell myself nothing is that important. Then I smile and continue on.

People have wondered how I can live the lifestyle I do, have you wondered? Well, I am rich, I have all I need, how about you? I’ve often said that being rich is being able to live the lifestyle that “you” want, with joy.

I am able to live on my social security disability income that comes in, only about eight hundred bucks a month. Living in my van and going to food banks to get nutrients, the only expense I have is fuel to get me there. I am even able to save some money and put it aside.

If you have enough money to satisfy your desires, you are rich! A simple lifestyle with few desires can bring about a comfortable life.

I have seen so many rich people who hate life and the way they live. So, in a way, I am better off than many.

WORDS TO INSPIRE YOU! >>

Inspirational quotes and motivational sayings have an amazing ability to change the way we feel about life and can change your thinking. This is why I find them so interesting and important on our paths to joy and happiness.

So what’s the secret of inspirational quotes?

1) Intending to inspire someone.

2) Have recognized our own need to be inspired.

Inspiration >> The process of being
mentally stimulated to do a certain thing.

You see, the way you think and feel about yourself, including your beliefs and expectations about what is possible for you, determine everything that happens in your life. It all derives from your quality of thinking.

When you change the quality of your thinking, you change the quality of your life—sometimes instantly. Just as positive words can make someone smile, and/or, a well-timed humorous quote can make someone laugh, our thoughts react to the world in real-time.

You have complete control over only one thing in the universe — your thinking – and that’s where motivational quotes come in! Self-talk is so important—THINK RIGHT!

I hope the words I pick do help you.

MY DAILY JOTTINGS >>

8/29/2020—Here I was in Butte, Montana. The history of the area is huge. Copper, gold, silver, and various other precious earth made many people millionaires (and some billionaires.)

I headed for the hills. Well, up through Anaconda (no, wI saw no snakes) and up toward Phillipsburg in Montana. This is a lovely area, I am so happy to explore.

What a wonderful drive through the wilderness. I went to listen to music outside (quite nice) and I taught a few people to juggle with scarves there on the lawn. A good time was had by all.

I ended up sleeping on a dirt road in the mountains in an old ghost town (no, I didn’t see any. There are signs explaning about the town, great to read. As usual, I awoke while the stars were still out.

This was Granite Mine, Montana. This is an old ghost-town from before 1900. Many of the original building are still here, but they have lost much of their integrity. While here, in looking around, we did not see one ghost.

There are mines that were worked on not too long ago, exciting to learn about them. One is still in operation, digging up copper.

8/30—Very quiet here last night in the woods. Now it is 8:18 and I have been up since before the sun. I will be cooking us hash-brown potatoes and bacon, should be a good start to the day.

I did a tour! What a magnificent mansion I saw, the Copper King Mansion in Butte. Here is the website of this place >>

And, watch this video about this magnificent place >>

9/2—Still in the same area as the mine. There is much history Butte, watch this video to learn more >>

9/3—Moved back into the Yellowstone area today. I love to see the forest, even through the trees.

MY CHALLENGE FOR YOU THIS WEEK >>

Have you examined your current way you are eating? Many people simply shove food in the mouth, chew it quickly, then swallow.

This week, start getting in a habit of taking one small bite, put your fork down, then slowly chew the food—feeling the texture and analyzing the taste, then move on.

Do this every time you eat, make each meal an event. You will eat less and enjoy it more.

NEXT BLOG>>

Heading toward the east toward Pennsylvania. Not many parks along the way, but I will find things to write to you about.

Like I wrote before, if you live along the way I would love to stop by for a visit. Let me know . . .

Speaking of that, when was the last time I heard from you? I would like to.
