Much of what I write about is taken from my experiences; I have gone through much. I hope to spread ideas so that you can live a better life. Remember, only you know what is best for you.

and always reach for more advancement.

TOPIC FOR THIS WEEK — Playtime!

Do you have to be so seriness all the time?
The following is from my book series, “Beyond Your Potential.” >>

It was when I started playing while recovering from my coma that I saw improvement.

Play improves your physical, cognitive, social, and emotional well-being. Through play, humans learn about the world and themselves. They also learn skills, such as confidence, for study, work, and relationships.

Play allows you to use creativity while developing your imagination, skills, and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. Play is essential to healthy brain development. Through play, we engage and interact with the world at a very early age.

Play Strengthens You in These Ways >>

  1. Play Makes You Smarter
  2. Play Helps You Solve Problems
  3. Play Boosts Creativity
  4. Play Reduces Stress
  5. Play Helps You Make Friends
  6. Play Enhances Attractiveness
  7. Play Builds Resilience
  8. Play Promotes Discovery
  9. Play is Fun!

Recovery
When I loosened up and brought on fun and play, I saw the most progress in my life. Let go of some of those adult feelings that hold you back. You can still be mature about your responsibilities on the job and with your life. By bringing back the fun, curiosity, and joy, you will have more delight in your life, and everyone you deal with will loosen up.

How we live
We live in an age that requires change, innovation, clear thinking, and creativity. The factors involved in humor require similar skills – play, exaggeration, associative thinking, reversal, developing spontaneity, and comic vision.

Be Spontaneous
As I was learning to walk again after my first accident, I saw a small row of bushes and jumped over them – I had to have my Kit fun. Playing spontaneously triggers endorphins in our brains that lift our spirits and calm our pain, fear, and burdens. Also, life can be difficult alone. When we play with other people, whether they’re family, friends, or strangers, we are reminded that we are not alone in the world; we are here as a group. The benefit is that we can connect to others in pleasant and meaningful ways that will expel loneliness, as we bring on comedy.

Humor Binds Us
The whole room laughs when I speak for groups or perform a juggling act. Humor is infectious. The sound of laughter is far more contagious than any yawn. Joy brings on a certain mindset that is relaxing and helps in life. When there is laughter between people, it brings them together, and they bind in a close way. Play is often defined as a time when we feel most alive, yet we often take it for granted and may completely forget about it.

Free Medicine?
A proven fact is that laughter also generates healthy physical changes in the body. Humor and laughter fortify your immune system, decrease pain, boost your vitality, and protect you from the damaging effects of stress (yes, laughter is a primary stress reliever). Best of all, this precious medicine is fun, free, and easy to use. Everyone must laugh for top health and well-being. A good laugh will weaken all the unpleasant thoughts you might be having. Your sense of humor is one of the most powerful things you have, and it will ensure your daily mood and emotional state support your good health.

No More Stress
I did go through depression for a time, as I’m sure you have, too. Laughter and joy helped to make me whole again. I could not be under stress and laugh simultaneously; the two just didn’t mix. Bring joy and laughter into your life, and watch the stress disappear. Having a sense of humor about life is crucial for a good life. When you are down, just force yourself to laugh like when you were young, and you will see how good it makes you feel. Bringing on laughter is natural, and healing can profoundly affect our bodies and minds. We can and must bring back the laughter of our youth, letting it work its magic to bring health and healing into our lives.

WHAT NEW STORIES ARE YOU READY TO WRITE?

WORDS TO INSPIRE YOU!
Inspirational quotes and sayings have a unique ability to change the way we feel about life and can change our thoughts. They are attractive, challenging, and essential on our path to joy and happiness and finding ways to inspire ourselves and others.

THE BURST!
Inspirational quotes and ideas give us a quick and timely burst of wisdom to regain our focus, offering the inspiration needed for the day or occasion.

BE POSITIVE!
Just as positive words can make someone smile, and a well-timed amusing quote can make someone laugh, your thoughts react to the world in real-time. You have this control! You have complete control over only one thing in the universe—your Thinking—and that’s where motivational quotes come in!

“YOU”
How you think and feel about yourself, including your beliefs and expectations about what is possible, determines everything in your life, and it all derives from your quality of thinking. Use quotes to move ahead in your life.

SELF-TALK IS SO ESSENTIAL—THINK RIGHT!
To stay motivated, you have to use each day as an opportunity to improve and get closer to your goals. It might sound like a lot of work—and with your busy schedule—it is next to impossible. But you can do it! Motivational words, yes, are just words. But they are positive words; they will keep you on track.

BE POSITIVE!
Positive and inspiring quotes are like beams of sunshine on a cloudy day. They inject optimism into our thoughts, brighten our mood,  and help us focus on the good in life. They remind us that even in the face of adversity, we can see the silver lining and embrace a positive attitude.

PEARLS OF WISDOM
In a world filled with challenges and indecisiveness, the power of inspirational quotes cannot be exaggerated. These pearls of wisdom uniquely uplift our spirits, can spark positive change, and fuel our motivation often when we need it most.

MY DAILY JOTTINGS >>
Each week goes by so quickly, don’t you think?
It seems like time is going by faster and faster.
You must live joyfully, daily, for each day?
Do you remember what you did last Monday?
Do you remember what you ate for dinner last Sunday?
Keep track of your doings for a few weeks; you will see your time differently.
Remember, the quality of your life depends on what you do each day.

3/2–Rain again today; this is great for the newly planted seeds.
Only a little happened today that I have to write about.

3/3 and 4–On Monday, Beth was playing with the horses next door. These three horses come by daily for treats. Usually, they get a carrot each, and sometimes they get apples. They know to come by each day. Today, I had watermelon rinds; they loved them.

3/5–Saw a cardinal again on the bird feeder. What a magnificent little bird.

3/6–We got another cockatiel to be with the one we currently have. We hope they will pair up, make eggs together, and bring on baby birds.

3/7–Yikes, a mouse!
Beth wrote the following:>>

“I was reading on the sofa when I heard a scraping sound coming right next to me.

Kit was outside (usually the primary noise source here), so maybe I heard wrong. No, there it was again! It was creeping along the floor, like in those horror movies just before the slasher jumped out.

I got up to look around and saw a mouse dragging a mousetrap that was on its leg!

I screamed! I tried to get it so he or she wouldn’t get lost in the house–in pain. It was so fast it scooted under the sofa, and I screamed again. Kit came in, and I hurriedly told him a mouse was under the couch. Suddenly, I became Wonder Woman and lifted the end of the sofa, moving it over so Kit could find the poor little critter. It continued to run forward, trying to escape us.

Kit grabbed the trap–and I screamed again. I had no control over what sounds came out of my mouth. He carefully took the trap outside and turned the little mouse loose, and it ran off into the woods.

We have no idea where this trap was set or where the mouse found it. It’s a mystery.

What I learned from this experience is that if I were to be robbed, I would not be the cocky, brave old woman telling the robbers to get out of my house like I think I’ll be. I will be the old woman wetting her pants and screaming just before I am stabbed to death.”

Everything is fine now, and we have no more little mices or mouses to attack Beth again.

All 16 windows in the house were replaced a couple of years ago. One was the wrong size. They had someone measure it, and then they brought (what they thought) the correct-sized window, but it turned out to be the wrong size. This happened four times, and three times, the incorrect measurement was made. What a mess.

They are just finishing up now. Looks good–finally!

It’s much warmer having this winder finally installed. Yet, the open door must fit into this, too, no?

3/8–Friday once again. Hope you enjoy reading this blog.

I was going to buy seed potatoes, but I went to Walmart and looked for organic potatoes, which I will be planting. Typically, potatoes at a grocery store are coated with a chemical that keeps them from “chitting.” I’m sure you have seen chitting when the potato starts sending out growth.

I will let the new potatoes chit and then plant them. I read about making a pile of leaves and burring the potatoes under them. These will take root and send roots into the ground. I will also be growing yellow, red, and Russet potatoes. You will see the growth in future blogs.
