ABOUT THIS CURRENT BLOG–
Have you ever forgotten? There was a time when I got so busy I forgot to breathe. Of course, it didn’t last very long; my body wanted oxygen. I don’t know if it was from my brain injury many years ago, but, of course, I had to breathe.
Sometimes, it reminds us that even when life throws us all sorts of disasters, we must pause and take a breath before continuing. It is similar to asking you to “take stock” of things before choosing how to tackle a particular problem.
“Forgetting to Breathe” refers to a disruption in the automatic breathing process, which can restrict your oxygen intake. However, it’s not a literal “forgetting” to breathe, as breathing is an involuntary function of the autonomous nervous system.
When you start to panic, take a deep breath; breathing can sometimes reset your thoughts and allow you to react sensibly, logically, and, most importantly, comfortably and without panicking. At times, it’s not about the fact that you aren’t breathing; it’s more of a statement intended to activate mindfulness by giving us something specific to focus on.
The words “remember to breathe” often remind people to focus on controlling and consciously breathing, especially during stressful or overwhelming situations.
Here are a few reasons why this phrase is essential>>
1: Stress Relief >> People tend to hold their breath or breathe shallowly.
Focusing on breathing can help calm the mind and body.
2: Mindfulness >> It encourages mindfulness and promotes awareness of the present moment.
Deep, intentional breathing can ground individuals and help reduce anxiety.
3: Physical Well-being >> Proper breathing techniques can improve oxygen flow.
It enhances relaxation and lowers heart rate and blood pressure, helping you.
4: Emotional Regulation >> Conscious breathing can help you better manage your emotions, providing a tool for coping with sadness, anxiety, or anger.
5: Essentially >> “Remember to breathe” is a gentle reminder to reconnect with your body and promote a sense of calm and clarity.
When people are stressed, anxious, embarrassed, or even put on the spot, anxiety builds up in their bodies and brings up cortisol. This also causes shortness of breath, a rapid heartbeat, and sweaty palms.
Your breathing method can help you calm down by clearing your mind, relaxing your lungs after they have been overworked, calming your heart’s thumping, and even stopping your palms from sweating. To do this, you take three long, deep breaths, hold each for three seconds, and let your breath out slowly. This method can be practiced anywhere, alone or in public.
**Remember to Breathe**
**Song by Sturgill Simpson**
I go out late at night to see what I can find.
Stayin’ in the shadows where the light don’t ever shine
Having one-way conversations with the darkness in my mind
He does all the talking ’cause I’m the quiet kind.
So peel it off, pull ’em down.
Let me see it, turn around.
Just lay back and let it happen.
And remember to breathe.
Staying off the radar like a bomber on the run.
Do another lap around the target just for fun.
Stayin’ quiet, keeping calm until I find the one.
Feel the wave wash over me when the deed is done.
So peel it off, pull ’em down.
Let me see it, turn around.
Just lay back and let it happen.
And remember to breathe.
Well, just lay back
Oh, just lay back
Oh, just lay back
Oh, just lay back
Oh, just lay back, oh, lay back.
And remember to breathe.
Well, just lay back now and let it happen.
And remember to breathe.

WORDS TO INSPIRE YOU!
Inspirational quotes and sayings have a unique ability to change the way we feel about life and can change our thoughts. They are attractive, challenging, and essential on our path to joy and happiness and finding ways to inspire ourselves and others.
THE BURST!
Inspirational quotes and ideas give us a quick and timely burst of wisdom to regain our focus, offering the inspiration needed for the day or occasion. I hope the words below bring a smile to your face and drive you to make this day and every day a fantastic event.
BE POSITIVE!
Just as positive words can make someone smile, and a well-timed amusing quote can make someone laugh, your thoughts react to the world in real-time. Have this control! You have complete control over only one thing in the universe—YOUR THINKING!—and that’s where motivational quotes come in!
“YOU”
Your quality of thinking and how you think and feel about yourself, including your beliefs and expectations about what is possible, determine everything in your life. Use quotes to move ahead in your life.
SELF-TALK IS SO ESSENTIAL—THINK RIGHT!
To stay motivated, you have to use each day as an opportunity to improve and get closer to your goals. It might sound like a lot of work—and with your busy schedule—next to impossible. But you can do it! Motivational words, yes, are just words. But they are positive words; they will keep you on track.
QUOTES
Motivational quotes affect our brain, behavior, and lives because they make us feel like we are in control of our success and have self-efficacy. Quotes make us believe that we have the confidence to complete a task successfully, which is different from having the motivation to succeed.
QUOTES WILL BENEFIT YOU!
Positive and inspiring quotes can be like sunshine on a cloudy day. They inject optimism into our thoughts, brighten our mood, and help us focus on the good in life. They remind us that even in the face of adversity, we can see the silver lining and embrace a positive attitude.
PEARLS OF WISDOM
In a world filled with challenges and indecisiveness, the power of inspirational quotes cannot be exaggerated. These pearls of wisdom uniquely uplift our spirits, can spark positive change, and fuel our motivation often when we need it most.
WORDS WILL CHANGE YOU!
The correct motivational quote can change you and things—helping you ditch the excuses, escape your comfort zone, and take action. Read these words with an open mind and learn to improve your life.
THESE QUOTES
When you read these quotes, you’ll also realize that many other people worldwide are experiencing these feelings. These feelings make you think you’re the only person who could feel this bad. But you’re not. Lots and lots of other people feel bad, too. This is the irony of it. You don’t want other people to feel crappy, but it does make you feel better or at least comforted to know that other people feel just as bad as you.
READ CAREFULLY
These quotes can be used when you wake up or prepare for work.
You can write your favorite quotes somewhere where you can see them first thing in the morning.
These quotes are motivating, inspiring, and encouraging.
They will help you see your potential, stay motivated, and see the beauty in every morning.
Use them to your advantage!

MY DAILY JOTTINGS >>
Each week goes by so quickly, don’t you think?
It seems like time is going by faster and faster.
You must live joyfully, daily, for each day!
Do you know what you did last Monday?
Do you remember what you ate for dinner last Thursday?
Keep track of your doings for a few weeks; you will see your time differently.
Remember, the quality of your life depends on what you do each day, each moment!
12/21–The day was spent all on my own. Jasmine and April were each busy with their stuff. Off I went to Costco to find gifts.
The plan is this (April has been working toward setting this up): The insurance company of the guy who hit me when I was walking in a terrible rainstorm to Ballys Casino to perform. I went through a 37-day coma and had to relearn everything physical.
Because NJ is a no-fault insurance state, Selective Insurance must cover anything causally related to the accident. It was April who came up with the idea of having the insurance company cover the cost of where I live. I am near my daughters and will find somewhere to live near them.
I will stay here for a month until we find another place for me to live later. Here is it >>

April got her church to cover the cost of staying here for a month. Very nice of them.
12/22–Returned to Costco to get a gift for April and one for Jasmine.
The day is coming up in just a few days, so this was necessary.
Not sure what I will do with them on “the day”, but you will find out.
Beth has blocked my phone calls, texts, and emails.
What a surprise!
I’m seeing an evil side of Beth.
I don’t know why she initially wanted to break us up; I am still learning.
If you know Beth, would you help us to reconnect?
I’ve been thinking about moving to a new country for a change.
New Friends, new Areas, I love the idea.
I’d gain great new material for this blog.

I would miss you, though.
I went to a local library to do some work. A retired principal who volunteered there to help me. I sent him information about presenting at his old school.
12/23–Worked on writing this morning. I hope you see I am improving.
Jasmine came this afternoon to take me on a tour of the area and to dinner.
It was very lovely at:

12/24–The day before Christmas — what to do, what to do?
12 25–MERRY CHRISTMAS! As usual, I awoke at about 3 a.m. Right away, I thought to myself, “You are alone.” I had woken up next to Beth for three years, so I felt differently. It was a very strange Christmas being here at the hotel.
I am mostly alone in this hotel room. Jasmine and April were supposed to be there a couple of hours ago, but it is now 3:19, and I have not heard or read a word from them. Being their father, that hurts—much.
As you may know, I never believed in any Santa or any God, so I don’t miss much.
But there are people who I was hoping to hear from, like my daughters and Beth.
I feel very lonely right now. I am not enjoying my life or seeing a magnificent future. I guess God could be my friend, but I don’t think so.
April and Jasmine eventually showed up. We had a pleasant visit as we exchanged gifts. At one point, I asked them if they wanted a beer. I felt strange asking them this question. But, they are old enough and did not want to.
12/26–Nice to awaken and hear an Amish buggy and horse trotting down the road.
Today, through Facebook, I heard from Zendini, who wrote these words >>
“Kit Summers, I would like to thank you. When I fractured my elbow while unicycling and juggling, the doctor said I would probably not be able to juggle again. It was depressing, but I found your book, which helped me. Two months later, I went into the doctor’s office and juggled. Since then, I have juggled worldwide and am still going strong, so thanks, Kit Summers!”
So good to read what he wrote!
I had to go to Walmart today for some items. I tried to ask three employees about some things, and the response was, “No speak English.” This Walmart is in Lancaster, PA, and I was surprised at the number of aliens who cannot speak the language. Seems like I should be in San Diego or something.
Learning the language should be the first thing one studies.
If I were in another country for a while, my main aim would be to learn the language.
12/27–3 am wake up time once again. I returned to Walmart for some other things.
I will have to wait until after the new year to start doing business again.
It’s been many years, and I still try to eat a salad every afternoon, like today!
DO SOMETHING NEW–DAILY!
THEN, KEEP DOING NEW FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!

I keep this section about gardening in.
I do like the skill and hope you do, too.
Winter now, but there are still things you can grow.
And, remember about indoor gardening.
A self-supportive life can be a better life.
A garden would be a part of that life.
You must look into it.
Because I am back on the road, there will be no more words about the garden.
I do hope Beth keeps it up.
We did a lot of work establishing our vegetable garden.
When I drove the van seven years ago,
I grew stuff under the sunroof windows on the top.
I may start that up in my van garden again.
You will find out, of course.
START YOUR GARDEN TODAY!
IT MAY BE NECESSARY FOR YOUR LIFE!

ALL OUR LIFE, WE MUST CHALLENGE OURSELVES!
