Whom do you talk to most in your life? No, not your family, not your friends, not your doctor, not even your dog—BUT YOU—watch your language! Th e words you say internally are the most important words you should ever hear. I play like a kid much of the time when I am talking to myself internally, it helps so much in my life. You can turn down the destructive language of your self-talk and turn up the second voice that can be funny, sexy. Make this into a voice that you enjoy listening to. You have that control. Stop being so serious about yourself with your self-talk. Th e most powerful words of your life are the words that you tell yourself.

  • Failure?

Yes, you will have failures, you will make mistakes, and things will not go right. Yet, this is no reason to bring stress into your life. You cannot learn without some failures. Everyone who has ever achieved anything has experienced a great deal of failure. You are in control of your life and how you think about your life and yourself. You have the power to be a significant influence on the course of your life. You can’t get down on yourself for making an error or not doing something right. Beating yourself into the ground for making errors won’t result in change, being positive will. Stay positive as you move forward through any stress that is apparent.

  • Move beyond where you are

From my book — Beyond Your Potential:
It is my belief, through experience, that every person on Earth is capable of attaining great heights of happiness and fulfillment, even if they have experienced loss and trauma and have faced seemingly insurmountable obstacles. I am living proof of that. In this series, I challenge you to thoroughly scrutinize your life so that you can clearly analyze where you can make improvements and also monitor the progress you are making toward your life’s goals.

From my book series, Beyond Your Potential:

A lot of highly successful people have a continual thirst for knowledge and are always asking questions such as those above. These successful people first think and ask the questions that will provide answers to advance their life. These people know that it is the people who ask the better questions who get a better life.
