• Changes in your life

Change – we can’t avoid it.

    • We resist changeand yet it is the resistance itself that brings on our suffering.
    • We fear changebut it is the only way beautiful new creations emerge.
    • We deal with changewe cannot keep away from it.
    • We welcome changeit is a driving force toward our achievements.

We try to protect ourselves from change by clinging on to what we cannot make unchangeable, and then we mourn losing what we never owned to begin with, even when what we’ve lost really didn’t make us content in the first place. We have a choice, you know.

What if, instead, we embrace change – you and me mutually – holding onto each other like best friends on a rollercoaster laughing and smiling? What if we work with change to make it work in our favor? No matter what “might” happen, we can find a way to flow with the changes and make them better. So, jump on board.

    Let’s go for the ride . . .

We all go through many changes. For myself—from getting hit by a truck and living through a 37-day coma to going through a divorce after 23 years of marriage to getting hit by second truck 18 years after the first to spending a month in jail on a false charge—I have had my share of change.

  • Why are you here?

From my book series, “Beyond Your Potential”

Enjoy the read (and buy my books)

    Bye for now>>>>>>>>Kit

Over the years, I have watched and listened to a number of successful people to learn ideas they have used. As I followed them, I analyzed the path they took to gain their success and tried to apply that to my own life. I have discovered a common trait:

“These people know why they are here in their life”
Success is knowing your purpose in life and following through. But there’s more to it than that. I know people who know their purpose in life but they are not finding success.

You need a development plan to help you reach your top potential. It’s not only knowing what you should do, it’s also about growing in that area to maximize and highlight the things that you do well.

Growth is not an automatic process. If you’re going to grow, you need to do so purposely and with reason. Basically, you need a motive for your growth.

What you will find is continual growth.

Knowing your purpose in life gives you constancy. While things might get hard and shaky for others, you can use this assurance to steady the boat and to ride out the storm because you are on a true course.

This direction becomes an anchor in life—a confidence based upon the knowledge of your principle. Someone once said there are two great days in life—the day you are born and the day you discover WHY you are here.

Remember this—highly successful people have discovered their driving force in life.

Join me as I help move my life forward and higher. See your future and see that you can change, that you will change.

Don’t remain in that easy or common life—jump up to that higher life that is awaiting you.

  • From my forth book in The Beyond Your Potential series;

What you think is what you become.

Remember, at any time in your life, there are other people in the world who have a harder life, less money, in bad relationships, have fewer resources, and/or less loved ones than you do, and yet these people are sometimes happier than you. While in the hospital, unable to move, I would see others who, being paralyzed, would never move again. In the same way, remember that there are people who are richer than you, in better shape, and with more resources, who feel less satisfied in their life than you do. See both sides of the coin. Get in the habit of seeing the positive aspects of whomever and whatever situation you find yourself in. If you find yourself complaining about what’s going on around you, then counter each complaint you make with one or two positive observations. Balance is the key.

Please let me know what you think>>>>>>>>>Kit

  • Do this daily

From my book series, “Beyond Your Potential” which you will find on my website, www.kitsummers.com

To add to your thinking ability, ask yourself this question on a daily basis:
“Is what I am doing (or not doing) helping me to get to where I want to be?”

Apply this to all details including what you eat, whether or not you exercise, how much TV you watch, how you are dealing with relationships and what you spend most of your day doing.

Take the time to examine your life’s path. Whether you are in school, working, job hunting, volunteering, or travelling, take a look at your life, in detail, and decide if the various details align with your values.

Examine your life’s path and your values. Whether you are in school, working, job hunting, volunteering, or travelling, take a look at your life, in detail, and decide if the various details add to the values you see in your life.

If the answer is no, then make the necessary changes!
