OPENING WORDS
Jennifer and I continue to have a fabulous time together.
We spend about 24 hours a day together and can’t get enough of each other.
You will find out more in future blogs.
Jenn wants to use a portion of this blog for her writings.
As you know, my van was involved in an accident and I lost a lot.
But I am getting some back,
looking at records of what I purchased from Amazon,
and getting new ones.

BLOG 321–LIVE WITH PURPOSE!
Why are you here?
What is your aim in life?
How are you helping?
Are you adding to the lives of others?
No matter what age or physical condition you might be, you still need to discover what your purpose could be.
Living purposefully means engaging in activities and pursuing goals that align with your principles. This, along with contributing to your well-being and happiness, adds to the lives of others. This is not selfish, as you add to others’ lives. It’s about finding meaning and living intentionally rather than simply existing. Yes, you can do it!
Living with purpose means aligning your actions with your values and passions, creating a new life that feels fulfilling and meaningful. It’s about intentionally choosing to live in a way that reflects your core beliefs and contributes to something larger than yourself. This can involve setting goals, prioritizing activities that align with your purpose, and making decisions that are true to your values.
Could you identify the things you care about?
I’d like you to reflect on what matters most.
Please be sure to recognize your strengths and talents.
Try volunteering.
Imagine your best possible self.
Cultivate positive emotions like gratitude and awe.
Look at the people you admire.
This will mean making conscious choices aligned with your values and goals, which will result in a sense of fulfillment and motivation. It’s about actively pursuing what matters most and ensuring your actions contribute to a meaningful life.
Fortunately, having a purpose in life is associated with all kinds of benefits. When you have purpose, you get a better life, more desirable health and well-being, longevity, and economic success. It feels good to have a sense of purpose, knowing that you are using your skills to help others in a way that matters to you.
Now, how do you find your purpose if it’s not obvious?
Is it something you develop naturally throughout a lifetime?
Can you take steps to encourage more purpose in your life?
The purpose is to cover all areas.
The reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.
The purpose of the meeting is to appoint a trustee.
The building is no longer needed for its original purpose
What does it mean to live purposefully?
Living a life of purpose means prioritizing what truly matters to you according to your values and beliefs and consistently acting on those priorities. Living purposefully is intensely personal; no one can dictate your mind’s calling.
Answer these questions to find your purpose >>
1) Can you identify the things you care about?
2) I’d like you to reflect on what matters most.
3) Recognize your strengths and talents.
4) Try volunteering.
5) Imagine your best possible self.
6) Cultivate positive emotions like gratitude and awe.Lve with passion, live with purpose
7) Could you look at the people you admire?
8) What are you good at?
9) What have you done that has given you a skill that can be used for a cause?
10) What do you care about in your community?
11) What do you think I’m particularly good at?
12) What do you think I really enjoy?
13) How will I leave my mark on the world?
HERE ARE SEVEN AREAS THAT CAN HELP >>
1. Identify the things you care about. Purpose is all about applying your skills toward contributing to the greater good in a way that matters to you. So, identifying what you care about is an essential first step.
Some students were asked to visualize what they would do if they had a magic wand and could change anything they wanted (and why). After that, they could use that reflection to consider more solid steps they might take to contribute toward moving the world closer to that ideal.
2. Reflect on what matters most. Sometimes it can be hard to single out one or two things that matter most to you because your circle of care and concern is far-ranging. Understanding what you value most may help you narrow your life purpose to something manageable that also truly resonates with you.
Looking at common values and ranks, which were most important, least significant, and in between, is effective in helping people clarify their purpose. Once you’re clear on your deepest values, ask yourself >>
What do these values say about you?
How do these values influence your daily life?
How might they relate to what you want to do with the rest of your life?
Doing this exercise can help you discover how to use your values.
3. Recognize your strengths and talents, as well as weaknesses. We all have strengths and skills that have helped us through our lifetimes and help make up our unique personalities. But you may be unsure of what you have to offer. It can be helpful to ask others—teachers, friends, family, colleagues, and mentors—for input.
4. Try volunteering, there are so many places that need help. Finding purpose involves more than just self-reflection. According to Bronk, it’s also about trying new things and seeing how those activities enable you to use your skills to make a meaningful difference in the world. Volunteering in a community organization focused on something of interest to you could provide you with some experience and do good at the same time.
Working with an organization serving others can connect you with people who share your passions and will inspire you. Volunteering has the added benefit of improving our health and longevity, at least for some people.
But not all volunteer activities will lead to a sense of purpose. At times volunteering can be deadening. It needs to be engaging. You have to feel you’re accomplishing something.” When you find a good match for you, volunteering will likely “feel right” in some way—not draining, but invigorating.
5. Imagine your best possible self–YOU
In The Greater Good’s Purpose Challenge, high school students were asked to imagine themselves at 40 years of age if everything had gone as well as it could have in their lives. Then, they answered questions, like >>
What are you doing?
What is important to you?
What do you care about, and why?
The why part is essential because purposes usually emerge from our reasons for caring.
“Your motive in life is to find your purpose and give your whole heart and soul to it.”
“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.”
Those of us who are a bit older can still find these questions valuable. There is something about seeing what you truly want for yourself and the world that can help bring you closer to achieving it, perhaps by focusing on the people and experiences you encounter that may help you get there.
6. Cultivate positive emotions like gratitude and awe. To find purpose, it helps to foster positive emotions like awe and gratitude. Each of these emotions is tied to well-being, caring about others, and finding meaning in life, which all help us focus on how we can contribute to the world.
There are many ways to cultivate awe and gratitude. We can be inspired by seeing the beauty in nature, recalling an inspirational moment, or juggling more balls than we thought we could. Gratitude can be practiced by keeping a gratitude journal or writing a gratitude letter to someone who helped you.
Whatever tools you use, developing gratitude and awe has the added benefit of being good for your emotional well-being, which can give you the energy and motivation you need to carry out your purposeful goals.
7. Think of the people you admire. Sometimes, the people we admire most tell us how we might want to contribute to a better world for ourselves. Reading about the work of civil rights leaders or climate activists can give us a moral uplift that can motivate us to work toward the greater good.
Looking at these larger-than-life examples can be too intimidating. If so, you can look for everyday people doing good in smaller ways. Maybe you have a friend who volunteers to collect food for the homeless or a colleague whose work in promoting social justice inspires you.EMBRACE THE PRESENT MOMENT- EVERY SINGLE INSTANT!

WORDS TO INSPIRE YOU!
Inspirational quotes and sayings have a unique ability to change the way we feel about life and can change our thoughts. They are attractive, challenging, and essential on our path to joy and happiness, as well as finding ways to inspire ourselves and others.
READ
Reading through the quotes below about life can do the trick if you’re looking for a pick-me-up or a healthy dose of motivation. Whether centered around positive affirmations, self-care, or success, life quotes can be powerful inspirational tools.

Inspirational quotes and ideas give us a quick and timely burst of wisdom to regain our focus, offering the inspiration needed for the day or occasion. I hope the words below bring a smile to your face and drive you to make this day and every day a fantastic event.
BE POSITIVE!
Just as positive words can make someone smile, and a well-timed, amusing quote can make someone laugh, your thoughts react to the world in real time. Have this control! You have complete control over only one thing in the universe—YOUR THINKING!—and that’s where motivational quotes come in!
“YOU”
Your quality of thinking and how you think and feel about yourself, including your beliefs and expectations about what is possible, determine everything in your life. Use quotes to move ahead in your life.
SELF-TALK IS SO ESSENTIAL—THINK RIGHT!
To stay motivated, you have to use each day as an opportunity to improve and get closer to your goals. It might sound like a lot of work, and it’s next to impossible with your busy schedule. But you can do it! Motivational words, yes, are just words. But they are positive words; they will keep you on track.
QUOTES
Motivational quotes affect our brain, behavior, and lives because they make us feel like we are in control of our success and have self-efficacy. Quotes make us believe that we have the confidence to complete a task successfully, which is different from having the motivation to succeed.
QUOTES WILL BENEFIT YOU!
Positive and inspiring quotes can be like sunshine on a cloudy day. They inject optimism into our thoughts, brighten our mood, and help us focus on the good in life. They remind us that even in the face of adversity, we can see the silver lining and embrace a positive attitude.

WORDS WILL CHANGE YOU!
The correct motivational quote can change you and things, helping you ditch the excuses, escape your comfort zone, and take action. Read these words with an open mind and learn to improve your life.
THESE QUOTES
When you read these quotes, you’ll also realize that many other people worldwide are experiencing these feelings. These feelings make you think you’re the only person who could feel this bad. But you’re not. Lots and lots of other people feel bad, too. This is the irony of it. You don’t want other people to feel crappy, but it does make you feel better or at least comforted to know that other people feel just as bad as you.
READ CAREFULLY
These quotes can be used when you wake up or prepare for work.
You can write your favorite quotes somewhere where you can see them first thing in the morning.
These quotes are motivating, inspiring, and encouraging.
They will help you see your potential, stay motivated, and see the beauty in every morning.
Use them to your advantage!

MY DAILY JOTTINGS >>Each week goes by so quickly.
It seems like time is going by faster and faster.
You must live joyfully, daily, for each day!
Do you know what you did last Monday?
Do you remember what you ate for dinner last Thursday?
You can keep track of your doings for a few weeks; you will see your time differently.
Remember, the quality of your life depends on what you do each day, each moment!
4/26–So much fun with Jennifer making dinner tonight. We have bonded so well as we get to know each other more and more.Jennifer’s home is in a condo complex with three bedrooms and two bathrooms; it couldn’t be nicer. There are many trees all around, and since we are on the top of the third tier, we can view all the trees, which is very lovely. The condo has a small bedroom that we use as an office.
Surprisingly, a small elevator runs for us, a personal elevator.
Jennifer has two great cats, but I am very allergic to cats, so we are trying to rehome them. We will also purchase a vehicle and take it on the road in the future.I am looking forward to getting back to nature. We are planning to find a vehicle and start traveling. You remember my past when I drove all over the US to national parks? That looks to be on my agenda for the upcoming.
Perhaps you can help.
Do you have a van or know of someone who has a van which I could acquire?
4/27–5/2–Jenn and I did stuff this week, often on our own.
5/3—Jennifer is going out to a girly get-together with some friends.
Being a guy, I could not attend—darn.
I spent the morning making a batch of my salsa ( summerssalsa.com ).
As always, it turned out great.
Let me know if you want to make some for yourself; I will send you a recipe.THEN, KEEP DOING NEW (DAILY) FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!

I keep this section about gardening in.
I do like the skill and hope you do, too.
Winter is here now.
But there are still things you can grow.
And remember about indoor gardening.
A self-supporting life can be a better life.
A garden would be a part of that life.
You must look into it.
Because I am back on the road.
There will be no more words about the garden.
I do hope Beth keeps it up.
We did a lot of work establishing our vegetable garden.
When I drove the van seven years ago,
I grew stuff under the sunroof windows on the top.
I may start that up in my van garden again.
You will find out, of course.START YOUR GARDEN TODAY!
IT MAY BE NECESSARY FOR YOUR LIFE!******************
ALL OUR LIVES, WE MUST CHALLENGE OURSELVES!
YOUR CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK >>
Examine your life. Are you aiming toward your passions?
If not, get some directions to make life magnificent!
If your life already has big passions–make them even bigger!

This is a love and a person I have been looking for in my life.

That person you are looking for is out there–looking for you.

BLOG 320–WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU JUMPED ROPE?
THE CHILD IN YOU
Jump rope can be a part of every childhood.
As an adult, yes, you can jump rope.
JUMP ROPE?
It was early last year, during one of my many attempts to lose weight, not that I’m too big now. Of course, I was almost always the biggest in the class, but the instructors were great.
THE TIME IT TAKES
The time it takes to see jumping rope results varies depending on age, fitness level, and consistency. However, studies suggest noticeable fitness and weight loss improvements can be seen within 4 to 6 weeks with consistent jump roping for 30 minutes or more, three to five days a week.
THE IMPROVEMENTS
Jumping rope for an hour daily can improve cardiovascular health, endurance, coordination, and calorie burn. It engages multiple muscle groups, particularly in the legs and core, leading to toning and potential weight loss. However, please ensure the proper form and gradually increase intensity to avoid injury.
JUGGLING?
Like juggling, jumping rope will increase and improve your arms and hands. Jumping rope for an hour daily can improve cardiovascular health, endurance, coordination, and calorie burn. It engages multiple muscle groups, particularly in the legs and core, leading to toning and potential weight loss. However, please ensure the proper form and gradually increase intensity to avoid injury.
GET THE RHYTHM
What an excellent, cheap form of exercise. But that wasn’t what I thought last year while skipping rope at the boxing gym. No, my thoughts tended to be more problematic while struggling to maintain a rhythm.
THE COST
The point is that you don’t need a $100/month gym membership, or even a $30/month membership, which I gladly pay for at my gym because it is an investment in me. And you don’t need to pay for a personal trainer.
MORE ON COST
Calisthenics, sit-ups, and push-ups are free, as is walking, jogging, or even wogging. And jump ropes? A quick search on the computer shows a range from less than $2 for a Winnie-the-Pooh rope to — **yikes** — more than $400 for something called a digital jump rope.
SIMILAR TO JUMP ROPE?
>All the girls in France.
>Do the Hula Hula dance.
>And they don’t wear pants.
>When they do the Hula dance.
YOUR HEALTH
Longer jump rope sessions (20-60 minutes) are great for building your aerobic fitness. Still, it’s essential to be wary of the stresses imposed on your legs and connective tissues during long periods of jumping. You want to build up to long duration (not start there).
THE BENEFITS
Jumping rope can also help people shed unwanted pounds. “Six weeks of rope jumping has been found to decrease BMI. When coupled with a calorie-reduced diet, reported changes in body weight and body fat range from approximately 3 pounds to 7 pounds in eight weeks.
WHY JUMP ROPE?
Jumping rope can be an inspiring tool for fitness and self-improvement. Words like jump for healthy futures!, Do it for all the times they counted you out, and “happiness is jump rope” can motivate and inspire people to embrace the exercise. Other phrases like “the only time you should ‘skip’ a workout is with a rope in your hand” highlight the value of consistently working out, even when faced with challenges.
THE TIME IT TAKES
The length of time an average person can jump rope varies depending on their fitness level and experience. Beginners can generally start with shorter sessions of 10-15 minutes and gradually increase the duration.
EXPERIENCE?More experienced jumpers may find 30-45-minute sessions beneficial. It’s crucial to listen to your body and take breaks when needed.
YOUR LEVEL
BEGINNERS:
Start with 1-5 minute intervals.
Gradually increasing to 10-15 minutes per session.INTERMEDIATE:
Aim for 15- 30+ minutes.
Potentially incorporating more challenging jump variations or short bursts of speed.EXPERIENCED:
You may enjoy 30-45 minutes or more sessions.
Focus on maintaining proper technique and recovery.
Skipping my way through life!Jump, smile, repeat.
No rope, no hope.
Catch me if you can, I’m jumping rope!
Less talk, more jump.
Jumping into a new adventure.
Effortless jumps, endless fun.
Keep calm and jump rope on.

I HOPE THE FOLLOWING WORDS
INSPIRE YOU AND ADD TO YOUR LIFE >>
THE BENEFITS OF JUMPING ROPE
1–“Fit is not a destination. It’s a way of life.”
If you want to achieve lasting results, exercise needs to become a part of your lifestyle and not a ‘lose weight quickly’ plan. Overdoing it from the outset can cause significant problems and make it harder to progress towards your goals. Slow and steady wins the race, but don’t forget to enjoy the journey.
2–“You don’t get the butt you want by sitting on it.”
Enough said. Get off the couch, now!
3–“Sweat is just fat crying.”
Making a person cry is mean. But making fat cry is incredibly satisfying.”
4. “I regret doing that kickass workout.” Said no one. Ever.
So what’s stopping you? You know you’ll feel so good about yourself after that workout!
5. “When in doubt, just keep jumping.”
Tripping over your ropes? You can’t quite seem to get those double unders. Frustrated by fancy footwork? Don’t let that stop you! As long as you keep jumping, you’ll get results.
6. “The difference between try and triumph is a littleumph.”
Sometimes, you need to push yourself further.

OPENING WORDS
Earlier, I had written about old folks and aging.
At 66, am I an old folk now??
My daughter, Jasmine, has been looking for a place for me to live.
Insurance will pay for me to stay here.
Jasmine showed me a site of a place they are looking into:
https://legendseniorliving.com/
This is an old folks’ home!
I have been so independent all my life.
Going to this place to live is foreign to me.
Do I fear the unknown?
Jennifer and I met recently, on Sunday, April 13. We fell in love immediately, and our relationship has grown since then. We will keep each other healthy and happy until our deaths. I love this woman so much that I have been looking for her my whole life.

BLOG 319–WHAT IS THAT YOU’RE EATING
Don’t just eat as a habit.
When you don’t eat, it does not hurt.
Eat when you feel hungry (but not too much.)
This can be a key to your extended life.
“While weight loss is essential,
What’s more important than quality?
The quality of the food you put in your body is essential.
Food is information that quickly charges you up.”
Kit Summers
As I was recovering from my 37-day coma, I found that I had the same eating habits as before the accident. I started gaining weight without the amount of juggling practice and exercise I had before.
After a while, I saw eating as a matter of discipline and control.
Learn to control your mind.
You will learn to control your eating habits.
With some research, I learned that incompatible food combinations robbed me of energy and contributed to my weight gain. Comparing my past eating habits to my new ones, I realized that much of what I ate was a habit. To break this habit, I started eating only when I was hungry and then just enough to get me past my hunger stage.
Try eating just a little, only when you are hungry. You will develop more energy, which will keep you in better shape. Also, I started not eating or drinking anything after 9 p.m. (this was later moved to 7 p.m.). As you sleep, your body has to work harder to digest what you eat late at night, and that food can easily transform into excess weight.
Stop and think for a second. How do you get a craving for food? First, you need to realize that you don’t get a craving; you create it! You make it by your thought patterns toward food. Is what you have a craving or just a habit?YOUR EATING HABITS GREATLY AFFECT YOUR MIND AND ALL YOU DO.
I had cravings, as we all do, and at times, since my accident, tiredness enveloped me. However, sleep was hard to come by, and lack of sleep affected my concentration dramatically. I would have spurts of energy throughout the day, sometimes brought on by something sweet or my tea drinking, caffeine.
WHAT WE EAT DIRECTLY AFFECTS OUR MOODS AND OUR OUTLOOK.
Change your eating habits, and you will change your life. By feeding yourself better, you will be happier and less irritable. To change your habits, start keeping a food diary.
Studies have shown that people who keep up to date with food diaries are more likely to lose weight. Before you even start to change your eating habits, keep a food diary for one week.
Record everything you eat at meal and snack times. Calculate the calories and other nutritional information, such as fat and fiber.
It has been discovered that people who keep food diaries are more likely to lose weight. Food diaries are an excellent tool for determining what needs to be changed to alter one’s diet.
Many people reading this book have probably noticed that we get more irritable when we don’t eat for a long time. This can’t be just because our bodies are hungry. Would it be because our brains are hungry?
WHAT WE EAT CAN AFFECT WHAT WE THINK.
The functioning of the brain is dependent upon its ability to properly metabolize the food you eat, of which glucose (blood sugar) is the main brain food. To get your brain to manufacture this blood sugar, it must have a sufficient supply of vitamins and minerals.
The brain’s proper functioning depends more on vitamins and minerals than on other organs. Since your brain is your biggest food consumer, feed it right.
This brain food is responsible for thinking, hormone control, regulation of involuntary functions such as respiration and heartbeat, motor activity control, juggling, and sense perception.
After the blood sugar in your brain is broken down, it produces neurotransmitters, which are a series of chemical messages sent from one part of your body to another. These neurotransmitters are ultimately responsible for your mind, memory, mood, and actions, which make up much of who you are.
So, is hunger driving you, or is your brain driving you?
Are you truly hungry? If the honest answer is NO, then put the fork down!
Because it’s not your body that craves food, it’s your brain.
Why is this happening to you? You see, cravings for food that is not good for you are a mistake of the mind; a habit you developed. Be it sweets or chips or anything along that line. These cravings show that your mind and your body are not working in sync. Examine your eating habits; do you just eat without thinking? You could eat to feel better mentally.
Inspect the causes of stress in your daily life and take steps to remove each stress factor. This will help with your binge eating. Make it so that “just” eating is not so satisfying, instead of savoring your food and each bite you take. Your brain is small compared to your body; you must give your brain what it needs.
Although the brain represents only two percent of the body weight, it accounts for over twenty percent of the total utilization of oxygen and fifteen percent of blood sugar. As you can see, your brain is ravenous and depends on your nutritional intake for its function. Once again, feed your neurotransmitters right to have a better life.
EAT RIGHT AND YOU WILL GET THROUGH CHANGES BETTER.
Through the changes I have had to go through, I was feeling exhausted and unproductive at times in my life, and I let depression set in. I was not stuck in bed, but found it hard to get things started, get things going, to get things done.
I saw time going by and didn’t even try to begin to keep up with it – I didn’t care – because of depression. Often feeling sorry for myself, my moods seemed to keep people away.
A doctor suggested medication for me to deal with this low-level depression and anxiousness, yet, I did not want to go the route of drugs. I had to retrain my mind to think in other and new directions.
Eventually, I discovered that food intake had much to do with these feelings. Once I changed my diet then, my attitude and mind changed for the better.
Yes, we can mindlessly stuff food in our mouths or delightfully savor each morsel we consume. If you take the time to taste each aspect of your bite of food and examine the texture with your tongue, you can have a delightful eating experience and do this every time you eat. Make it a habit.
MAKE EACH MEAL SMALLER, BUT MAKE EACH BITE AN EXPERIENCE.
Eat slowly, chew leisurely, put the fork down between bites, taste every morsel, and only eat when hungry.
This may be a new way to eat for you–make each meal, each bite you take–a gratifying experience. You will eat less and enjoy your food more. You will lose weight and keep your mind and body in better shape.
Along with this, we often choose whether we thoroughly enjoy the taste of something we are eating. Savor each bite; you have that choice. Change your mind and change your taste. Be more careful about what you consume; you have that control.
For about five years after being in the hospital, I drank a lot of Diet Coke, at least one or two cans (or three) a day. It got to be a habit. Then, I read some studies about the harm that soda does to you.
One day, I just said, “No more.” Since then, a drop of soda has not gone down my throat for over twenty years.
I switched to drinking a great deal of tea. I used some cream and non-sugar sweeteners in the tea. Then, I read a study about how aspartame harms humans. That was the end of my romance with non-sugar sweeteners. I started using honey, honey (yes, you.)
You know how everything can be found to be unhealthy for you; we have to be the ones to figure out what is true for our bodies. You must choose what you think is right and consume correctly.
REMEMBER, YOUR MIND AND BODY COME FIRST FOR EVERY BITE YOU PUT INTO YOUR MOUTH.
There is a difference between appetite and hunger. Appetite is the “longing” for food; hunger is the “need” for food. We seldom have true hunger. Don’t just eat out of desire, habit, boredom, a need for comfort, or because others are munching away.
TAKE CONTROL, THINK; YOUR DIET CAN AFFECT YOUR MOOD AND ABILITY TO THINK CLEARLY.
Many chemical additives, intentional and unintentional, are present in everything we eat and drink. Although research is not conclusive, these additives might affect our intellect.
Be careful about what you put into your body; it will eventually go to your brain. Better things like a big salad, can significantly benefit you.
In 1991, I started a new habit: Every afternoon, I eat a salad, a combination of various kinds of lettuce, broccoli, spinach, carrots, and a few other things. In the summer, I grow much of my salad myself. Each week, I make a big salad to last the week. I hardly ever miss a day of my salad.
I keep hearing how salads are so good for you. Now, if I miss my salad day, I feel strange. Yes, we can develop better habits. Even when I went to Australia and New Zealand, I made my salads daily.
Develop a good habit for yourself (and, no, not a chocolate chip cookie habit.)
Along with salad, I came up with an excellent salad sauce (I like that wording much better than salad dressing). I developed this healthy salad topping by looking at many salad sauce recipes and taking the best ideas. It is nutritious, cheap, and easy to make. Here is the recipe for you. Try some; you will love it.
Kit’s Oriental Salad Sauce
2 cups olive oil
1 cup soy sauce
2 small onions, chopped fine
2 stocks celery, chopped fine
1/2 cup lime juice
1/2 cup rice vinegar
4 tbl minced fresh ginger
4 tbl honey
4 tbl tomato paste
4 tbl ketchup
2 tbl teriyaki sauce
2 tbl sesame oil
2 tsp dry mustard
2 tsp pepper
I created a delicious fresh salsa to accompany this salad sauce about twenty-two years ago. Salsa is relatively healthy and has many benefits. It’s easy to make, and the taste is marvelous. Below is the recipe for making your own; you must let me know how it turns out. These are not exact measurements; change them to suit your tastes.
How to make Summers’ Salsa:
One can of corn
One can of black beans (or a can of mixed beans)
One can of sliced peaches, or 3 fresh peaches
One bunch of coriander (also known as cilantro)
A 20-centimeter diameter (8-inch) group of fresh Roma tomatoes (same as plum tomatoes)
One large red onion
One lemon
One lime
Four cloves of garlic, minced
Chili powder—one spoon
Garlic salt—one spoon
Honey—two spoons
Cumin powder—one small spoon
1 or more jalapeno peppers (depending on the heat level you desire)
You will put all these ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Use a food processor to chop everything into small bits, about one or two centimeters (quarter-inch squares). Start by cutting up the tomatoes. Then, peel off the outside of the onion, cut it into quarters, and put these in the food processor. Drain the can of peaches and put them into the food processor, adding them to the bowl.
Drain the cans of corn and beans and add them to the bowl. Hand-chop the coriander into small bits (about the same size as tomatoes) and add this. Squeeze the juice of the lemon and lime into the bowl, and add some pulp if you desire.
Add the chili powder, garlic salt, and honey. In the food processor, chop one or more Jalapeno peppers into tiny bits and then add them. Mix these ingredients well and enjoy your fresh salsa. To make a spicy salsa, leave out the peaches and maple syrup and add more Jalapeno and habanero peppers, along with more cumin, curry powder, and chipotle spice.
Each person is physiologically different, so no one diet works for everyone.
One time, I tried fasting (and I did it really quickly). I didn’t eat for four days and lost 15 pounds. Strangely, I didn’t get hungry in those four days, either.
I might see how long I can go without eating sometime–I’ll let you know how it turns out (or you’ll hear about my death.) I mainly fasted as a challenge to myself.
Hunger does not hurt me; I’ve been through many more painful things. Going through the fast was quite interesting. When I returned to eating, I was more careful about what I put in my mouth. Most of us consume daily because we always have, so stopping that cycle was immensely fulfilling for me.Try it; don’t eat anything for at least a few days and drink plenty of water. You will not be harmed by doing this. This can be a new and different experience for you. (As I wrote before, the more experiences you go through, the more fulfilling a life you can lead.) This experience might open your mind and body to new thoughts and ideas.
GET AWAY FROM THE IDEA THAT YOU HAVE TO EAT ALL THE TIME.
Food is the focal point of most social gatherings—hot dogs, hamburgers, potato chips, soda—it’s party time!
You don’t have to join the crowd and eat what they eat. Ask for some vegetables and/or healthier foods.
You may have also done this. I hate going to all-you-can-eat restaurants because I eat all I can—good food, no limit, a one-time cost, go-go-go. Think before you do this; you can have control.
Every fast food place now pushes biggie-size portions, a terrible thing, don’t fall for it.
On my trip to Australia and New Zealand, I found that perhaps one out of twelve people is fat. Here in America, maybe one out of four (three?) is fat. It’s this food-consuming consciousness that is so prevalent in America.
We must change how humans eat for the world’s health, especially your health. For me, making changes in my diet (watching my vitamin, protein, carbs, less caffeine, less sugar) revitalized me and kept me from depression and anxiety. I required less sleep and felt better throughout the day. I was more productive, focused, and energetic when facing life with a better frame of mind.
If you are trying to lose weight or eat better, don’t think of food as the enemy. Eat the right amounts and the right things, and food will be your best friend, my friend.
After all my changes, there were times when I got down and wanted to give up. I examined my eating and made changes to fuel my body. Nutrient deficiencies make our bodies work poorly; depression is often the result.
A study published in the American Journal of Psychiatry compared a diet of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fish with highly processed meats, grains, and fast foods. Those who ate the whole foods diet had a one-third lower risk of becoming depressed. Not to mention that eating processed junk foods means you’re more likely to be overweight, often resulting in depression.
I no longer eat processed foods. Processed foods are empty calories, meaning that they ruin your daily caloric allowance without supplying your body with the necessary nutrients to function at a high level.
Choose local, whole foods (or grow your own, as I do). Choose food that contains all the enzymes and ingredients together to feed your brain the nutrients necessary to do better for you.Reduce your food intake and eat a better combination of the right foods, and you will also reduce or eliminate your stress levels, reduce weight, and be happier—all of which will provide a better life.
Examine your life and what you eat, and make changes where necessary. Change your eating habits and change your life. Remember, don’t eat for your stomach; eat for your brain, and feed it right.
EMBRACE THE PRESENT MOMENT- EVERY SINGLE INSTANT!

Inspirational quotes and sayings have a unique ability to change the way we feel about life and can change our thoughts. They are attractive, challenging, and essential on our path to joy and happiness, and finding ways to inspire ourselves and others.
READ
Reading through the quotes below about life can do the trick if you’re looking for a pick-me-up or a healthy dose of motivation. Whether centered around positive affirmations, self-care, or success, life quotes can be powerful inspirational tools.
THE BURST!
It might sound like a lot of work—and with your busy schedule—next to impossible.
PEARLS OF WISDOM
In a world filled with challenges and indecisiveness, the power of inspirational quotes cannot be exaggerated. These pearls of wisdom uniquely uplift our spirits, can spark positive change, and fuel our motivation when we need it most.
WORDS WILL CHANGE YOU!
The correct motivational quote can change you and things—helping you ditch the excuses, escape your comfort zone, and take action.

4/12–Today, I went with Jasmine to a fantastic second-hand store. She bought quite a few things. I just needed one basket, so I did. This will be for my fruit and vegetables.
When I returned, I went on YouTube. Right now, I am being educated about ancient people who were in America. I don’t like to use the word “Indian” because that was what these people were called by the early explorers who thought that they were in the country of India. With YouTube, I do not need to watch TV; I can watch what I want.
Tonight, I watched Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. It was a good film, but I was sad that Spock is no longer alive.
As I lay down, I was scared to go to sleep. You know, what little sleep I get is always on my mind. When I awaken so early, I am tired for much of the day. So, I see why I am scared to lay my head down to sleep.
4/13–As I awoke at about 3:30, I knew I could not return to slumber, so I just lay there.
At about 3:30 p.m., Jennifer will come over to talk with me about Medicaid and how it could help. I was on Medicaid once, and it did help. I will let you know. So, I started straightening my room early, which looked nice.
That’s how I have lived my life. Keep everything nice—always—and it is better. Do you do this with your home and yard? It is a good habit to get into, so you never have to think about rearranging and/or cleaning.
Right now, it is about 7 a.m. I am tired and have not slept, and I can see why. As I wrote before, I think I want to fall back into my coma and not deal with life—another reason I no longer want even to live. Seeing a dismal future, why bother?
And, because I am tired, I have double vision — which I hate.
Mental Health challenges? Yes, I guess so.
I know life will get better — BUT WHEN ??
I’ve decided I need to start a new life.
My tinnitus is almost overwhelming today—the constant noise in my ears is too much.
One good thing about all this is that I found contact info for Jennifer, who is trying to get me on Medicaid for dental work. We met and quickly became close. Being with someone who cares about and loves you is so exquisite. We went out and got Indian food tonight, and we both ate a great meal. I’ll let you know more about Jennifer Labanz as I learn more. Yes, I have a reason to continue living.
It was hard; I sent a goodbye letter to Beth.
She is no longer a part of my life.
We had some good times together,
She will always be a part of my past.
4/14–I keep juggling balls and clubs to throw in my room on the single bed. I do not juggle much, but I should. Because of my limited sleep, I am often tired and don’t want to bother.
I worked on writing blog words today.
Heavy editing is the key to good writing.
Are you noticing? Let me know, please.
4/15 through 18–Being with Jennifer has been fabulous.
We think the same way about most things.
There are spectacular conversations between us.THEN, KEEP DOING NEW (DAILY) FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!

WHAT NEW STORIES ARE YOU READY TO WRITE?============================
OPENING WORDS
I just read an article about the “elderly.”
woman (the paper wrote) who had her Tesla attacked.
Later, the article said she was “61 years old.
Me–being 66–am I elderly?
I never thought of myself as “elderly.”
That’s scary.
A lady who looks old is living in the room next to me.
I discovered that Cindy is 62 years old.
I’m 66; do I look the part?
I’m even all right about my limited sleep. I still function fine, even with just a few hours of sleep at night. I find that I am going through an odd time. I’m here about affecting change.
In my last blog, I wrote about how I did not like life, ready for death I was.
But, recently, I wrote that I wanted to surpass the age of 100.
I am unsure; I think I’ll stay around for a while.
I did hear from people.
It made me change my thinking.
You will see a different blog.
“I read your blog every week !!
I hope life gets easier for you soon …
Don’t stop writing…”
Sharon Fodrovics
“Kit – I read all your blogs!
You are one of the most
inspirational people on the planet!
Please keep them coming!!!”
Your friend, Larry Zeiger
“I read your blog every week, too, BUT…
…if constructing a themed blog each week
is too stressful, as it seems to be; just post
when something significant changes in your life.”
Ray Stern
“I like to read different sections of the blog. I echo
Ray. Post when you feel inspired to write some or
something significant happens.”
Kim Ranson
“Why did Beth ask you to leave?
Please ask her why she did this and let me know.
What on earth was her reasoning?
You seemed so happy together, but it’s really sad.”
Love and Light–Jessica Taylor
I hoped to hear from more people,
but that was enough for me to continue
publishing my blog posts.
Even with the troubles I’ve been experiencing, I can still live the life that I want. I have no regrets about anything that has occurred in my life. Overall, I have had an excellent life and am quite pleased with it.
BUT>>
I’ve been reduced to eight boxes holding what I have left.
I lived in a three-story house, got rid of stuff and moved into my van.
Then, after I crashed my van, I left a lot.
Often, I have much sadness and anger, and I am not sure what to do.
At this point, I don’t even care if I die.
In the past, I’ve had great times in my life.
That was long ago and far away.
Should I even post when I feel this miserable?
I’ve figured out why I have been so sad and damaged currently.
All my life, I have had goals for the future—projects to look forward to.
Right now, I have nothing.
For each of the following, I went for excellence.
This is something that many do not aim for; what a loss.
Aim toward excellence, and you’ll get that.
Here are some of my goals >>
1) Juggling has been a big part of my life since age 15. I aimed for excellence.
2) I juggled 7 clubs, a world record at the time. I got over fifty throws with the 7.
3) I went through a 37-day coma and came through alright.
4) I married Mary Ellen, 23 years of marriage, and we raised our daughters, Jasmine and April.
5) Hundreds of schools across the US had me present my inspirational/entertaining program.
6) I developed my workshop to help jugglers improve.
With the workshop, I went all over the US, to Europe three times,
Japan three times, and Australia and New Zealand.
7) I have written 15 books to help people advance over time.
My book, Juggling with Finesse, sold over 25,000 copies worldwide.
8) I developed a fresh salsa that people love — I sold thousands!
See https://sites.google.com/site/summerssalsa/
9) When traveling, I would go to libraries to get online and plugins.
Beth worked at the McCormick, SC library, where we met.
We fell in love, married, and had a good life together.
One day, Beth said she wanted me gone, and sadly, I left.
She does not communicate with me, and I don’t know why she changed.
I’ve been alone and do not like life without Beth.
10) I lived in my van and traveled all over the US.
Going to every state and every national park.
11) I have published my weekly blog for years to help people.
===================
BLOG 318–I have written about juggling and how to do it in the past. Since I have many new readers, I had to write about the subject again so new people can juggle. Learn the skill; there are many benefits.
Juggling offers many benefits for the mind and body, including improved hand-eye coordination, motor skills, concentration, focus, and brain development. It is also a fun and portable form of exercise.
Juggling is an excellent exercise for the mind and body. It is a total mind-body workout, and from my experience, you are working virtually every upper body muscle, from the reaching and throwing motion to bending down and picking up the props you drop (if you drop, that is.)
Do you juggle? There’s a nice uniformity to the idea that about 70% of people are surprised that only about 30% of people can juggle! Juggling is as good an exercise as running or lifting weights. While there’s no definitive data on the exact percentage of people who can juggle, estimates suggest that only around 21% can. And this exercise is great fun!
Jugglers tend to be predominantly investigative, which means they are pretty inquisitive and often like to spend time alone with their thoughts, as I have. Jugglers also tend to be social, meaning we thrive in situations where we can interact, persuade, or help people.
Juggling works wonders for our critical thinking skills. Juggling is a soothing, methodical, organized activity for the brain. “This soothes, focuses, and slows the brain down to look at and focus on small details and movements.
I loved the skill of juggling and its daily improvement. Some days, I would be in the gym for 12 hours, then be impatient for the next day when I could do it again. Juggling is a physical skill involving manipulating objects for recreation, entertainment, or sport.
Based on this evidence, as a dual-task activity, bimanual juggling may effectively integrate brain areas to improve neuroplasticity. Consistent practice is key. To get your first 10 throws while juggling, you should expect to practice about 30-60 minutes daily for about a week. Some people may progress more quickly. Others may take several months to achieve their first 10 juggles.
In the accident and 37-day coma I went through, I believe my ability to juggle helped me come back fully.
You can apply the same principles to learning juggling to motivate yourself to succeed. With juggling, you will exercise and improve your mental and physical alertness, coordination, reflexes, and self-confidence. Juggling is good for working out and relaxing. You get good exercise by bending down to pick up a dropped prop.
A half-hour of juggling versus a half-hour of exercising-–the results are the same; the difference is that juggling will also exercise your mind. It will give you an alert body and a calm mind. Also, juggling is good eye-hand coordination training for every sport. Most of all–Juggling is great fun !! Young people (as well as older folks) love learning to juggle (yes, YOU!)
Juggling offers numerous benefits for the mind and body, including improved hand-eye coordination, motor skills, focus, concentration, and brain development. It is also a fun and portable form of exercise. Juggling has been shown to help fight depression, PTSD, and other serious problems.
========================
Basic Juggling Skills: The Cascade with 3 balls is often the most common pattern people use when juggling. Ensure you can maintain this pattern for much longer than it would take to run/jog the distance you want to cover.
Jugglers have told me that juggling with scarves is not juggling; it is more of a manipulation of the scarves. So, I see their point. Although it will teach someone the basic cascade, later can be done with other objects like balls, clubs (and machetes.)
Don’t just think about juggling — do it!
You can learn this skill — no matter how old you are!
Or even if you have gone through a brain injury!
It is the cheapest and easiest to make your own scarves.
Buy Toole material and cut 18-inch squares to juggle with, these are easy to juggle >>
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=toole&crid=2NT54N0OW6HRB&sprefix=%2Caps%2C177&ref=nb_sb_ss_recent_2_0_recent
Walmart also sells this material.
I’ve taught thousands to juggle with scarves. Because they are lightweight, they float in the air and are easier to manipulate. Watch this video to see someone juggling scarves >>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtYA220zcfc&t=64s
One Scarf
To get the feel of the scarf, throw it up and catch it. Play with it to get used to it. Now throw the scarf under the leg, behind the back. Next, keep it in the air by blowing it up with your mouth.
Hold one scarf by the center, not by a corner, with your palm down (for scarf juggling, you always keep your palm down.) Lift your arm as high as you can toward the opposite shoulder. When the hand reaches the peak, release the scarf, palm out, like you are waving goodbye. Reach high with the other hand and grab down on the scarf as it reaches chest high.
Do the same thing in the other direction.
Now repeat this pattern, right-left-right-left, slowly. Relax, and don’t go too fast.
The pattern is like a sideways figure 8.
Two Scarves
Once again, play with the scarves to get the feel for the 2. Now throw the scarves up, side by side at the same time, and clap, then up and clap twice, up and clap under the leg, up and behind the back. The next step is to throw them up and clap four times–in front, under the leg, behind the back, then in front again. This can be very fun for the kids.
Now for two-scarf juggling. As we just worked on with one scarf, bring one scarf high above the opposite shoulder and release it. When the first scarf is at its highest point and starts to fall, lift it in the other hand in the same manner and at the same height toward the opposite shoulder. The second scarf will pass underneath the first throw.
Change the starting hand each time. First, throw right-left and stop, then left-right and stop, then right-left and stop, and so on. What you do is throw, throw, catch, catch, then do the other side.
Next, hold one scarf with the little finger and, in the same hand, hold one scarf with the thumb and index finger. This will give you two scarves in one hand, the starting position for juggling. This is the starting position for your juggling pattern. Always start with the hand that has two.
Lift the hand holding two scarves up to let go of one scarf toward the opposite shoulder. Release the scarf held with the fingertips and grab down on it with the other hand to catch it.
3 Scarf Juggling!
Hold two scarves in one hand like we just worked on; have one in your other hand. For juggling, always start with the hand holding two and just release one. When the first scarf gets to the top, lift the second scarf, which is the same height, with the other hand. As your hand comes down from releasing the second scarf, it will catch the first.
The pattern goes: THROW (with the first hand), then THROW, CATCH (with the second hand), and then THROW, CATCH with the other hand, back and forth. Remember, the hand that the scarf is coming to you will throw with next.NOW YOU ARE JUGGLING!!
3 Scarf Tricks
First, make sure you can juggle 3 scarves. Juggle 2 scarves in one hand. The pattern should have the scarves going straight up and down beside each other. Count the throws to judge progress. Now, with the hand that wasn’t throwing the 2, throw a scarf in so it goes straight up and down along with the 2 in the first hand. So, you are throwing 1 up, then 2 up, then 1 up, then 2 up. The scarves will go up and down in columns. Search YouTube for other scarf tricks you can learn.
Ball juggling
1 ball
It is best to be standing so you can maneuver well to catch the ball. Have one ball to begin with. For example, like with scarves, have them do various tricks to get used to the balls, such as throwing under the leg, behind the back, over the head, etc.
Work on throwing the ball from hand to hand, about 3 inches above the head. Your vision should be kept high, and you should look at the peak points of the throws. As you throw the ball from hand to hand, throw from the inside and catch on the outside.
2 balls
Start with one ball in each hand. Throw the left-hand ball up to head height towards the right-hand side. As the ball reaches its apex and comes down towards your right hand, throw the ball you are still holding before you catch it, and then see the first ball.
Next, please take a look at the second ball in your left hand. The important thing here is to make sure you throw the second ball the right way. Throw it inside the first ball, i.e., closer to the center of your body.
Don’t throw the second ball in front or behind the descending ball. People who end up doing this always have to juggle while walking forward to keep up with their balls. While being a good trick, it is not the ideal way to juggle. Important Note: One solution to the walking forward problem is to stand in front of a wall while juggling to keep you from moving.
Something else to work on at this point is juggling 2 balls in one hand. The balls should be thrown in a circle out from the center. Working on 2 in one hand is suitable for working toward juggling a 3.
3 balls
Start with 2 balls in your right hand and one in your left. Throw one of the balls in your hand with the 2 balls precisely as before. When it comes down, throw the ball in your left hand and catch the first ball, as before. As the second ball comes down, throw the third ball in your right hand precisely as before. Then, see the second ball in your right hand and the third final in your left. NOW YOU’RE JUGGLING 3 BALLS!!
In this photo–Albert Lucas, Deena Frooman, Niels Duinker, and me, Kit
My friend, Niels, can teach you to juggle >>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2_j6kMg1co
3 Ball Tricks
Ensure you juggle 3 balls for at least 10 throws before moving on. For example, with scarves, have students team up, with one using the left hand and the other using the right. So, they do a cascade pattern between the two of them. Also, please count their throws to judge progress.
Over the top
All you do for this one is instead of throwing a ball to the inside of the next ball coming down, you throw it on the outside, over the top of your juggling pattern. I’m still hoping to catch it the same way.
Under the leg
Initially, work on this with just 1 ball. Throw the ball under your leg. Lift up your leg, reach beneath your knee, and throw the ball up. Either reach low or lift your leg high. Ideally, the pattern of the balls should stay the same.
Two in One Hand
Just keep holding 1 ball in your left hand and juggle the other 2 in your right hand. The rhythm for this is the same as for 3-ball juggling. Work on 2 in one hand with either hand.
Shower
To juggle a 3 ball shower, you must first take 2 balls in your best hand and 1 in your weaker hand, throw the 2 in your best hand into the air quickly, then pass the ball in your weak hand into your best hand and throw it. You’d like to aim for a point above the catching hand. You should catch the first one about now and then repeat that process. The throws should be about 3 feet above your head at first; then you can slowly lower that until you’re juggling a shower at about the top of your head – this is very fast at this height – this pattern can be juggled on both sides so make sure you practice both.
Performance Time !!
People love performing for family and friends, so they should enjoy this performance. You may even want to have refreshments available before the show. After the big show, have your students work with all the audience members and teach them to juggle.

WORDS TO INSPIRE YOU!
Inspirational quotes and sayings have a unique ability to change the way we feel about life and can change our thoughts. They are attractive, challenging, and essential on our path to joy and happiness and finding ways to inspire ourselves and others.
READ
Reading through the quotes below about life can do the trick if you’re looking for a pick-me-up or a healthy dose of motivation. Whether centered around positive affirmations, self-care, or success, life quotes can be powerful inspirational tools.
THE BURST!
It might sound like a lot of work—and with your busy schedule—next to impossible.

I HOPE THE FOLLOWING WORDS
INSPIRE YOU AND ADD TO YOUR LIFE >>
“Juggling and balancing effectively required that we make clear, legacy-driven choices about what we’re trying to keep in the air and how we sequence our movements down the beam. Because the ultimate grade in life is not based on how far and fast we’ve walked the beam or how many things we’ve juggled—it’s based on how much we’ve enjoyed the exercise.”
― Eric C. Sinoway
“Get out there and dance.
Throw some balls around and juggle.
Life should be playtime.
Don’t go through life and be too seriness.”
― Kit Summers
“Life is a juggling act with your own emotions. The trick is always to keep something in your hand and something in the air.”
― Chloe Thurlow
“In the 1950s, at least less was expected of women. Now we’re supposed to juggle a career, build a home, be the supermum every child deserves, the perfect wife, meet the demands of elderly parents, and still stay sane.”
― Sara Sheridan
“The real magic is the hand around the bandsaw, the thrown spark in the powder keg, the dimension-warp linking you straight into the heart of a star, the flaming sword that burns down to the pommel. Sooner juggle torches in a tar pit than mess with real magic. Sooner lie down in front of a thousand elephants.”
― Terry Pratchett
“…with a look on her face that said she had a lot of plates to juggle, but as long as you were prepared to be spun, everything would be fine.”
― Paul Cornell
“Imagine life is a game in which you are juggling five balls. The balls are called work, family, health, friends, and integrity. And you’re keeping all of them in the air. But one day, you finally understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. The other four balls – family, health, friends, integrity – are made of glass. If you drop one of these, it will be irrevocably scuffed, nicked, perhaps even shattered. And once you truly understand the lesson of the five balls, you will have the beginnings of balance in your life.”
― James Patterson
“Juggling is sometimes called the art of controlling patterns in time and space.”
― Carol Bartz
“There are good and bad days,
and this is one of them.”
― Ronald Graham
“Juggling is an illusion. …
In reality, the balls are independently caught and thrown in rapid succession. …
It is task switching.”
― Lawrence Welk
“I dropped my juggling balls, and my face grew embarrassed. It wasn’t until then that I looked around the circus of life and noted all were too consumed in their juggling act to see. This is when I learned to have fun and kick the balls instead.”
― Gary W. Keller
“Your mind’s always juggling, isn’t it?-mirrors, torches, plates.”
― Stefanie Schneider
“Communication is a continual balancing act, juggling the conflicting needs for intimacy and independence. To survive in the world, we must act in concert with others, but to survive as ourselves, rather than simply as cogs in a wheel, we must act alone.”
― Ray Bradbury
“Work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. The other four balls – family, health, friends, integrity – are made of glass. If you drop one of these, it will be irrevocably scuffed, nicked, perhaps even shattered.”
― Deborah Tannen
“My life is very complicated. I have a lot going on, and I am juggling many responsibilities. There is so much going on that it is astounding; it is.
― Gary W. Keller
“Keep thy smooth words and juggling homilies for those who know thee not.”
― Michael Jackson
“Juggling is very, very straightforward; very, very black and white; you’re manipulating objects, not people. And that’s always appealed to me.”
― Barbara Walters
“All that counts is the truth.
Without it, you’re just juggling
people’s daft ideas.”
― Penn Jillette
“Wit is often a mask. If you tear it, you will find either genius irritated or cleverness juggling.
― Jojo Moyes
“The fact of the matter is, when I’m on tour, I’m juggling so hard to keep all the balls in the air that I don’t often get to enjoy what I’m out there doing.”

Remember, the quality of your life depends on what you do each day- each moment!
4/5–Stayed around my room, one room with a bathroom–at $1,000 a month.
I just don’t know what to do right now.
4/6–I slept until about 5 a.m. today. That’s an extended sleep for me. Perhaps things are getting better?
Jasmine and April have helped me so much with all matters. This photo is Jasmine.
I feel so alone right now; I hate it.
I want to live at least until the age of 100.
4/7–I haven’t been for some time. I juggled today, and it went well.
4/8–Hmm, now what did I do today? More important, what did you do today?
4/9–Went to the dentist for a cleaning today. I did not take very good care of my teeth when I was young, but it’s coming back to me now. I was told that I should have all my lower teeth that are left pulled and then have a lower plate made. This gives me another reason I no longer want to live. I am not having fun and am just finding shit in my future.
As I was driving, I said aloud, “I’m done” with life, that is.
I’m sick of seeing double most of the time — it is awful.
Right now, I am drinking a Kalua-type drink that I am enjoying. My mom, sister, and brothers were alcoholics; I said I would never be. Now I can see why.
4/10–Went to Costco today to pick up food and necessary items. The thing about Beth a lot, should I? Hard to keep my mind away from those thoughts.
4/11–Volunteering today for https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_SJtwn7oQs&t=9s.
Today I got big bags of bacon and divided those into smaller bags.
Boy, we went through a lot of pig.
THEN, KEEP DOING NEW (DAILY) FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!

WHAT NEW STORIES ARE YOU READY TO WRITE?============================
OPENING WORDS
The past week has been difficult.
I’m a man with no dreams and no hope.
It’s been so long since I had fun in my life.
I don’t know how to make things better.
Hard to be confident right now with what is going on.
Also, in the last couple of blog posts, I wrote about how I was hurting and the problems going on. I had expected to hear from some people, especially you, but I heard from no one. As a result, I do not see a reason to continue my blog. I hope I have added to some people’s lives with my words. Or was I wasting my time?
About the blog I write (which you are now reading), I added to my blog posts while driving across the US a few times and from when I was in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Europe. I have written hundreds of words and many blogs.
This life I am living now, I see nothing to live for.
How about you? Would you miss my blog if I stopped posting?
And, because I am not traveling, perhaps it will be no more blog posts.
I am sad that Beth kicked me out of the house.
We had such plans for our future together—now—nothing.
And, of course, that accident with the van, which totaled it—
no more traveling in my incredible van.
It’s hard to write about confidence when your entire world is crashing down.
Please let me know if you have read my blog posts.
kitsummers@gmail.com is where to write me.
How many replies I get will determine if I keep up with writing this blog.
It’s up to you.
Do you like my blog posts?

BLOG 317–Find Your Confidence!
Like many of us, a lot has happened in the last several years that would deflate even the most confident. You’ve taken on a lot of new responsibilities, faced the unknown, had sickness and grief, and stayed home with all our people 24/7.
As the world opens up, you may feel a little apprehensive, and unsureness is normal. For many of us, it’s time to change clothes, dust off that old workwear, and remember just how complicated your morning routine used to be; yes, change.
I’ve found that the best way to develop confidence is to fake it. You will feel better about yourself and get more accomplished–other people will believe in you. So, next time you need confidence (or any attitude), fake it, you will be surprised at the outcome.
Don’t forget that confidence is not a solo venture—it can be strengthened by investing in a genuine, healthy group. We can see ourselves fully in the shared experiences and friendships we have with others. If you’re hungry for more inspiration to take your life (and mood) to the next higher level, don’t miss out on others’ help. Keep friendships going.
Confidence can be tricky to deal with. Worry and fear can quickly become overwhelming, but remembering that the future can’t be changed by worrying about it can be a grounding thought in trying times. Change your thought patterns.
Confidence can be a wonderful thing. It allows us to move through life with poise, joyfulness, and self-assurance. With ake on challenges that might otherwise seem huge. And confidence is a fickle thing–some people seemingly have complete confidence–others lack confidence and can become self-conscious in their life.
While low self-esteem is never good, a lack of continued confidence is not necessarily a negative. Some research suggests it can make you more successful by encouraging hard work, seeing all, self-reflection, and an openness to feedback. Learn, then move forward.
We can recognize and celebrate courage with others, but it can also be an internal, day-to-day experience in ourselves. One of the most common ways we practice confidence is to pursue learning and personal growth. Research shows us that fear of failure can negatively correlate with courage, but what if it’s OK to make mistakes—learn from them—and they are welcomed learning tools?
Here are questions to ask as you go forward >>
What do I “stand for”?
What do I value in myself?
What is important to me?
What are some of my successes
What are some of my accomplishments?
EMBRACE THE PRESENT MOMENT- EVERY SINGLE INSTANT!

THE BURST!
It might sound like a lot of work—and with your busy schedule—next to impossible.
