WHAT NEW STORIES ARE YOU READY TO WRITE?
============================
ABOUT THIS CURRENT BLOG–How do you like to spend your time?
This is the third hundredth posting of my current blog.
I hope my posts inspire you to make changes for the better.
I also wrote blogs across the US, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
I’ve spent much time writing words for you, although I immensely enjoy it. When I write to you, it brings back memories of where I have been and who I have dealt with—I love it! They say time is of the essence. What exactly does that mean? Time, time, time.
The 24-hour clock counts the number of hours completed that day. The first two digits are the hours, followed by a colon, and then two digits for minutes. More precise timekeeping (for sports, countdowns, etc.) can also add colons and digits to track seconds and milliseconds.
ONCE TIME PASSES, THERE IS NEVER A CHANCE TO GET IT BACK.
When a digital clock reads 00:00, it is midnight; 12:00 is noon; and 23:59 is the day’s last minute. Midnight could also be 24:00, but many timekeepers argue that the millisecond past 24:00 flips to the next day, and the time should be documented as 00:00. In places that use 24-hour time, the mechanical clocks will often have two rings of hour markings, o to 12 and 13 to 24.
Although 24-hour time is widely used in Britain, the U.S. military, and many other places worldwide, North Americans and Australians are far more accustomed to the straightforward 12-hour clock.
Time always seems to fly by, with no possibility of slowing down. It can be challenging to shake the feeling that time is fleeting. There is either insufficient or too much time wasted, but it is never the right amount of time.
Take it from me: It’s time to toss that mindset out the door and begin to live in the moment. Take advantage of time and own it. If it feels like time isn’t on your side, or if you’ve been working to embrace its fleeting nature, these quotes will offer comfort and wisdom on making peace with time.
LIVE FOR THE MOMENT — EVERY MOMENT OF YOUR LIFE!
Life is not just the passing of time; it is a collection of experiences, their frequencies, and the intensity of those experiences. Time is life computerized—nothing but man’s fear of seeking control. Life is oblivious to time, so why shouldn’t I?
Time is not watching the clock tick by or philosophizing Einstein’s take on what time is. Time is life in focus, in the now. Happening. Time is a measure of a gift — consciousness, the opportunity to be and to feel.
To worry over time is to act out of apprehension of the silence. You must remember that time is a product of our insecurity—our fears.
IT’S ONLY TIME, DON’T BE SCARED!
I do not see time — or I choose not to.
I only see life.
I see an opportunity to live and to help others.
Will that opportunity last a hundred years? 72 years?
It doesn’t matter.
Or perhaps it does, and I’m just too dumb to know.
In the endlessness of space and the infinitude of time, individually, I am meaningless — or virtually. So why agonize with time?
IT IS ALWAYS NOW — YOU HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE!
When time seems to drag on forever, think of those long, lazy summers that seemed never-ending or how it could feel like an eternity watching the clock tick away or waiting for the final school bell to ring. But as we grow older, many of us feel like time is moving more quickly.
This interesting phenomenon has nothing to do with any change in time measurement; a minute today is the same length as 500 years ago. According to some scientific theories, this sensation has to do with how our brains process the experiences around us, which changes as we age, leading to a feeling of increasing rapidity.
EXPERIMENTS HAVE REVEALED HOW WE EACH PERCEIVE TIME DIFFERENTLY.
When we are younger, it takes time for our brains to absorb and process all the sights and sounds we have experienced—new learning. This overwhelming flood of knowledge may contribute to the sensation of time moving more slowly.
As we age, we often fall into our familiar routines. Days, weeks, or even months can pass without our lives changing. Our brains aren’t working as hard daily to process and analyze new experiences, so time moves faster. Keep track and register your changes. It would be best if you learned to change with the changes.
DON’T FALL INTO THIS TIME TRAP
It is subjective, as some older people may actively seek stimulating activities that keep their brains active and help “slow things down.” But generally speaking, time tends to blend more and more as we age, when it isn’t broken up by fresh, original experiences as frequently as in our younger years.
HOW OUR BRAINS CHANGE AS WE AGE.
Even if you plan to seek out new and challenging experiences as you age, your perception of time will likely still be affected by the changes within your body and brain. Older people experience time more rapidly due to physical changes in the neural receptors, which become larger and more complex as we live.
As an older adult, you may remember fewer details, so time flies by. In other words, younger people often recall memories as if they were watching slow-motion footage, which allows them to look at every minor detail. But for older folks, specific information may be missed entirely as the footage flies by.
Another possible explanation for time appearing to fly is proportional theory. This theory suggests that how we perceive time is related to the amount of time we’ve already experienced. Younger people have lived for less time, so each new experience seems more substantial.
There’s still much uncertainty about exactly how the human brain functions and, in turn, why time seems to speed up as we age. However, researchers who have studied this topic generally agree that new and unfamiliar situations can make time seem to slow down.
If you’ve begun to feel like the minutes are flying by, try exposing yourself to something new—stopping into local restaurants where you’ve never eaten, taking a trip somewhere you’ve never visited, or even learning a new language. These may help you “slow down” and allow you to soak up every moment like you did when you were younger and the world was less familiar.
LIVE FOR THE MOMENT — EVERY MOMENT!

WORDS TO INSPIRE YOU!
Inspirational quotes and sayings have a unique ability to change the way we feel about life and can change our thoughts. They are attractive, challenging, and essential on our path to joy and happiness and finding ways to inspire ourselves and others.
THE BURST!
Inspirational quotes and ideas give us a quick and timely burst of wisdom to regain our focus, offering the inspiration needed for the day or occasion. I hope the words below bring a smile to your face and drive you to make this day and every day a fantastic event.
BE POSITIVE!
Just as positive words can make someone smile, and a well-timed amusing quote can make someone laugh, your thoughts react to the world in real-time. Have this control! You have complete control over only one thing in the universe—YOUR THINKING!—and that’s where motivational quotes come in!
“YOU”
How you think and feel about yourself, including your beliefs and expectations about what is possible, determines everything in your life, and it all derives from your quality of thinking. Use quotes to move ahead in your life.
SELF-TALK IS SO ESSENTIAL—THINK RIGHT!
To stay motivated, you have to use each day as an opportunity to improve and get closer to your goals. It might sound like a lot of work—and with your busy schedule—next to impossible. But you can do it! Motivational words, yes, are just words. But they are positive words; they will keep you on track.
QUOTES WILL BENEFIT YOU!
Positive and inspiring quotes can be like sunshine on a cloudy day. They inject optimism into our thoughts, brighten our mood, and help us focus on the good in life. They remind us that even in the face of adversity, we can see the silver lining and embrace a positive attitude.
PEARLS OF WISDOM
In a world filled with challenges and indecisiveness, the power of inspirational quotes cannot be exaggerated. These pearls of wisdom uniquely uplift our spirits, can spark positive change, and fuel our motivation often when we need it most.
WORDS WILL CHANGE YOU!
The correct motivational quote can change you and things—helping you ditch the excuses, escape your comfort zone, and take action. Read these words with an open mind and learn to improve your life.
THESE QUOTES
When you read these quotes, you’ll also realize that many other people worldwide are experiencing these feelings. These feelings make you think you’re the only person who could feel this bad. But you’re not. Lots and lots of other people feel bad, too. This is the irony of it. You don’t want other people to feel crappy, but it does make you feel better or at least comforted to know that other people feel just as bad as you.

MY DAILY JOTTINGS >>
Each week goes by so quickly, don’t you think?
It seems like time is going by faster and faster.
You must live joyfully, daily, for each day!
Do you know what you did last Monday?
Do you remember what you ate for dinner last Thursday?
Keep track of your doings for a few weeks; you will see your time differently.
Remember, the quality of your life depends on what you do each day.
11/30–I edited the blog I posted yesterday.
It’s nice that I can edit it after it has been posted.
Willow and I went for Mexican lunch, which was a great meal.
I had to; this is New Mexico. I was happy to pay for the lunch.
Willow had produced such a great Thanksgiving dinner, and I had to.
12/1–It’s 4 a.m. I’m packed and ready to hit the road. It was difficult to leave my sister’s house; she wanted me there longer. It was hard staying with Willow; she had lived alone for so long that any difference in her routine upset her.
I am arriving at Cindy’s house. She has been a good friend for many years, and I am happy to be here.
12/2–Cindy has been a vegetarian for many years. Today, she asked me what kind of pizza I wanted, and I told her I like pizza with everything. She agreed and purchased a pizza like that. She was all right eating the pepperoni and sausage; in other words, she didn’t explode. No one should hold me responsible for getting her to eat meat again. She did enjoy it.
12/3–I worked on things around Cindy’s home. We also went to Costco for items. I allowed Cindy to shop; we had over $600 worth of stuff. She or we will use all of this.
12/4–Cindy and I spent time doing errands throughout the day.
Every week, Cindy joins ten other people to practice a handbell recital. The guy who directs this is quite good. Bells ringing, there you go.
12/5–I could not sleep after waking at 12:30 a.m. I am up for the day. My daughters are working toward finding me a place to live near them. This is excellent news, as I have been living in my van without a home base.
12/6–As usual, awake and up by 3 am. My mind clicks on, and returning to slumber is out of the question.
Cindy had a sink upstairs that was draining slowly. She had called someone to take a look; they were here today. I should have taken a look myself. The guy ended up charging Cindy $150 just for a bit of time and the fixing. Next time I am somewhere with a slow, draining sink, I will look at it myself.
DO SOMETHING NEW–DAILY!
THEN, KEEP DOING NEW FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!

THE GARDEN THIS WEEK
I keep this section about gardening in.
I do like the skill and hope you do, too.
Winter now, but there are still things you can grow.
And, remember about indoor gardening.
A self-supportive life can be a better life.
A garden would be a part of that life.
You must look into it.
Because I am back on the road, there will be no more words about the garden.
I do hope Beth keeps it up.
We did a lot of work establishing our vegetable garden.
When I drove the van seven years ago,
I grew stuff under the sunroof windows on the top.
I may start that up in my van garden again.
You will find out, of course.
START YOUR GARDEN TODAY!
IT MAY BE NECESSARY FOR YOUR LIFE!
