*************************INTRO TO THIS WEEK >>
To the north for me? You will find out why later. But, then back south for me to Florida. I drove through the most horrendous rainstorm, I have never experienced one with that much water.
Much driving in the rainiest weather I have ever dealt with. I actually got scared while driving—could hardly see ahead, passed many accidentlies, it was all a little much—just to go and see a girl I hardly know from Facebook?

WORDS TO INSPIRE YOU! >>
Inspirational quotes and motivational sayings have an amazing ability to change the way we feel about life and can change our thinking. This is why I find them so interesting and important on the path to joy and happiness.
Inspiration >> The process of being mentally stimulated to do a certain thing. I hope to inspire you with my words. Words have power.
You see, the way you think and feel about yourself, including your beliefs and expectations about what is possible for you, determine everything that happens in your life. It all derives from your quality of thinking.
When you change the quality of your thinking, you change the quality of your life—sometimes instantly. Just as positive words can make someone smile, and/or, a well-timed humorous quote can make someone laugh, our thoughts react to the world in real-time. You have this control.
You have complete control over only one thing in the universe — your thinking – and that’s where motivational quotes come in! Self-talk is so important—THINK RIGHT!
I hope the words I pick do help you.

BE INSPIRED BY THESE WORDS >>
From my book series >> Beyond Your PotentialTry many ways and don’t give up!
There is always an original and diverse way of doing something. It doesn’t matter what limitations you perceive or find along the way, or how many times you fail. Keep trying.
One of the most common causes of letdown is the habit of quitting when one is overtaken by temporary weakness. In these moments, we may feel like we can’t live up to what we desire to accomplish. I learned to get over this sort of thing through juggling practice. Often I would drop what I was juggling, but I would just pick up the club or ball or sword and try again.
Never confuse failure with momentary weakness. So many people will encounter a moment of weakness when trying something new or when attempting to stretch a limit and then assume they’ve failed and give up too soon feeling frustrated and defeated. Every individual is guilty of this mistake at one time or another.
We can convert that moment of weakness into success by reflecting on what happened and finding where things went wrong. Once we know what went wrong, we can try again and we can do it right. This process of reflection and correction is what leads us to success. The main thing is to keep driving forward.
Don’t believe you have to know everything about something in order to do it.
While you continue to push yourself forward, don’t limit yourself by thinking that you have to know everything that there is to know about what you are doing in order to be successful at it. There are many people who have achieved great success without knowing everything, including even the correct way to get something done.Success requires many attempts, and those attempts will require different approaches. One approach may not be the same approach that another person finds helpful, although both might find success.
Try different ways until you find one that works for you.
In working directly with people who have gone through recoveries from various accidents and illnesses, I have learned that many of these people were very strong mentally after what they had been through. I too had to learn to be of a healthy mind after not one, but two long-term stays in the hospital.
Numerous people who have come back from tragedies have extraordinary self-confidence because they have overcome hurdles and learned lessons to advance their lives. They had lifted their self-imposed limitations and allowed themselves to excel farther than if they hadn’t gone through the change they experienced.
Now, don’t go out looking for an accident or something to get into. Just know that, if something does occur, you can find your way back.
Belief is the key to life.
Know that you can do whatever you set out to do and believe in your abilities. Rather than limiting yourself, allow yourself to believe that you can and will be successful. Even if you find that you really can’t push this or that limit any further, at least enjoy the time you’ve had trying.
Think back to when you were a child and the words limit and limitation weren’t even in your vocabulary. Self-imposed limitations came later in your life as you saw what might cause you harm or might not work.
Now consider that everything you effortlessly do today is something you did not know how to do at one time either, but for some reason, these things were not singled out in your mind as being unattainable.
The things that I had to relearn after waking up from my coma – walking, talking, juggling –never came to mind as being a limit for me prior to my accident. I just did these things unconsciously. Things we normally take for granted should never be a limitation, just do them.
Turn back the clock, bring back your childhood, and stop limiting yourself. If you hold onto being realistic, your full potential in life will be lost and you won’t reach as high a level as you could have.
Don’t “turn” into an adult.
At thirteen years of age, I started riding unicycles with a neighbor named Ron Friel. I remember him saying to me, “Yeah, I’m probably never going to ride tall unicycles. This regular size will be my goal.” When we set limits like this for ourselves, they tend to keep getting bigger and bigger in our minds.
The first time Ron and I ever rode a tall unicycle, we came to the realization that we had become too attached to our success on a regular cycle. In that moment, we also overcame the limitation of riding just a regular size cycle. Going above and beyond this limit that we had set for ourselves opened up a new world for us.*************************
MY DAILY JOTTINGS >>11/7—Today is Saturday, it seems that I often arrive at a national park or wilderness area at the weekend. More people around, to me, is not a good thing (I love you, though.) I arrived at Ocala National Forest today.
Right now I am at a library in Palatka, Florida. Arriving at about 7am, after changing into my shorts (already warm here), I saw they had benches out in front and outlets there to plug in—how fantastic!
I’m already thinking I will be here all day and arrive at Ocala Forest tomorrow. I have all the food and water I need to last me a week or more, perhaps I will? Of course, I will have to be out by next Friday to get the blog out to you.
Arrived in Ocala National Forest. So glad to be back here oh, what a wonderful area.
11/8—Paid for campsite number 160 for two nights. This campsite, unlike all the others, is small and secluded with forest all around. Now it was time to go and get firewood for the night and then for the breakfast fire tomorrow.
I found a dirt road turn off the main road and took it to find wood. This was a very narrow road, plant growth on both sides. I could not find a place to turn around for at least one kilometer. Along with that, there was sand on the road in some places four or five inches deep.
I had to drive in about half a mile where I could finally find a place to turn around. And, on the way in on this road, it was kind of downhill; so, I knew it would be uphill on the exit. Finally found a place where I could turn around.
While there, I gathered up some wood and loaded up the van.
To get out of here I knew would be a scary drive. To get through the sand, I had to take off at full tilt as fast as I could to go. It was hard to even steer, but I made it through and was so happy I got back to the main road.
This will make for a great fire for the night.
You will see photos of the splendid fire.
11/9—Overnight the rain started. It did not let up for all day, more and more drops came down. So, I spent my day in the office of the park on the computer.
Glad I did the fire last night because the rain started in the morning; off and on somewhat heavy. Most of the day it continued.
The main reason I get a campsite is to have a fire. I knew that there would be rain this day and the next, so I went to ask for my money back for the second night, I found out they do not give refunds. I ended up staying the night again in site number 160.
Trees all around, it was very dark and quiet. I am glad I did end up there again for a good sleep.
This stove burns only wood, no cost, and a great stove!
For the last two days I could not find my wallet. I sort of knew it was somewhere in the van (hoping.) I did not panic, I did not get upset. My mom taught me well, in these kinds of circumstances she would have said things like, “Well, you will find it, or you won’t”.
A simple thought I apply to many areas of my life. Either it will work or it won’t. If you think this way you avoid undue frustration and irritation. In fact, when I could not find the wallet I was already thinking about what my next steps might be to solve the problem.
On my computer I keep a list of everything that I keep in the wallet. I only keep one of my credit cards and one debit card, the others I keep in a separate place in the van. In fact, I keep a second wallet with all the same cards just I case something like this were to occur.
It ended up that I did find the wallet, my billfold was on the front floor under some papers. I learnt to be more careful and keep better track of where the wallet is, always.
Ocala National Forest.
So glad to be back here.
What a wonderful area.
11/10—I had a great fire for the night. You will see photos of be splendid fire.
But, the rest of that day and the next head rain, much rain. I spent the day in the office of the campground.
I seldom eat pig, but at the last food-bank I went to they gave me a package of bacon. So, there was breakfast. I used scissors to cut the package in two, so the slices would fit in my pan. It actually tasted good. I will have the other half tomorrow.
Overnight the rain started. It did not let up for all day, more and more it came down. So, I spend my day the office on the computer.
11/11—The rest of the bacon for breakfast, yum.
Overnight, the rain let up. This morning I will have to look for my wallet. Yesterday, I could not find it, but I did not look thoroughly, because of the rain.
As I’ve written before, when something bad happens like, not finding my wallet, I don’t panic and I don’t get upset. I believe it’s in the van and yesterday could not look because of rain, today I will find it.
My Mom had taught me some great lessons. I can hear her now saying, “Either you’ll find it or you won’t.” So simple, yet so true. You see, when there is nothing you can do to solve a situation, you have start thinking of solutions.
It ended up that my wallet was on the floor in the front passenger side. I learnt to be more careful where I put my holder of money and cards, and what I do with it.
I remember now I had a bunch of stuff in my hands and put it all down together. In the future, if I have a bunch of stuff, I will sort and put it away where it goes.
Today I’m torn and not sure what the future holds. Either, it’s going south for warmer weather, or north to go see my new friend, Alice.
We connected through Facebook and have grown closer and closer. It’s one thousand miles to the north, but if things work out right, I will go to her.
As you may know, I have been so lonely. But, with Alice, it’s not just to feed the need of a lonely life. I have been smitten with this woman. We met through Facebook and she wrote me things like this >>
This was sent to me by Alice >>
I’m a lady who lives life as it comes to me dear. I don’t worry about tomorrow, for it will be here no matter what I do. The best days of my life are yet to come and i am looking for someone who will love and care about me for a long time relationship that can lead to marriage Kit..She is planning to call me about 5 p.m. this evening. That call will be the deciding factor. Of course, you will find out my decision later. I do have to say, I miss so much having a love in my life.
About 1 p.m., the rains came on strong. There are people down swimming in the water, but they packed up and left. Funny, they were here to go swimming, but a little rain scared them away? They are going to get wet while swimming, seems so funny to me.
As the rain let up, and with no one around, it’s time for me to go into the water. The weather is always so clear here, I’m told that there are seven freshwater Springs which feed into the lake. What a wonderful place to bathe.
With no one around, naked time. The water Felt So Good, I got very clean.
11/11—How embarrassing! I’ve got to tell you about it. I’ve been corresponding with Alice for a few weeks. We have developed somewhat of a loving friendship.
She told me she was in Buffalo, New York and wanted me to come there to be with her. She told me she was 33 and very lonely and I was the man for her. (How could I fall for this shit.) Well, I did and fell head over heels—just from text.
As you know, at the time I was in Florida, the northern part. I decided I would drive the thousand miles up to Buffalo, New York to be with Alice and her daughter Angela. I have seen pictures of them both, pretty Oriental ladies. I heard a recording of Alice’s voice, sounded very nice and sincere.
She told me her phone was not working right– and I believed her! And there were other things, also, there were just not lining up.
So I got halfway up there and thought to myself, what the hell are you doing? Searching Facebook I connected with Alice with some pertinent questions.
Or, maybe I am wrong and she really does desire me?
Of course, she wrote back, saying she needed money—again (I never did send her any.) I told her I was just going to turn around at that point and return South.
Alice was a great dream I was having. I was seeing the future with this woman. She also wanted to have children with me and I saw a new family and such. What a knucklehead was I.
It ended up that I did depart and started off. I’m glad the cost of gas it is less than 2 bucks now. I had told her that I was going to give her $100 when I saw her. So to justify the cost of gas I’m thinking, well I didn’t give to give her a hundred bucks.
On my Way South, I stopped by Congaree National Park again. Because of the rain there’s not much to see. It was how about 3:30 and I was going to plan to stay there overnight, but with nothing to do or see, I Departed.
Going for the South, I stopped by Calhoun County Library. I’m able to use their Wi-Fi in the parking lot. So, I may just stay here overnight. It’s so interesting not knowing where you going to sleep every night.
No more Facebook love for me.
As I was passing Charlotte, NC, on the way south did you see me wave, Liisa?
Back down to Salt Springs in Ocala Park. A wonderful area to come back to.
I’m lonely out here, I would love to hear from you.

Are up happy?

BE INSPIRED BY THESE WORDS >>
As a performer and juggler, I constantly had to be creative to develop new juggling patterns, and being live on stage, I had to learn new and exciting routines for my performance. Also, most of my life I have been self-employed, an endeavor that requires creativity and risk. I also had to tap into my creativity to find ways to recover after my accident. Then, of course, for this book and the other books in the Beyond Your Potential series, I had to develop more creativity to write words for you that will help to advance your life. You Are Creative
Being creative is taking a risk, trying something new, or finding new ways to do old things. Think back to when you were young and free to use your mind how you wanted to. As a child, you probably saw a bright future for yourself with all the things you wanted to accomplish once you grew up. Your mind was always open to trying new things. In order to regain your natural creativity, learn to think like a child again. Free yourself of the unproductive and dull norm of adulthood that says you can’t try new things or that creativity isn’t needed. So many adults lose their childhood fun, play, and creativeness and “turn” into adults. To Make Creativity
Our brains have tremendous potential for creativity, analysis, and reasoning at any age. There are many paths to creativity. It could be as simple as combining two existing things in a new and different way. It could be taking something that is always done a certain way and discovering a new and better way to do it. It’s simply a matter of taking the time to think about what you are doing instead of just going through the motions. The only thing that you and I need to do to release our creativity is to be whole brain thinkers.Be Open
Being a juggling performer, I had no choice but to be creative. To learn or create new juggling feats, I needed to be open to trying new ways to throw, new ways to catch, and new props to throw and catch, including fire and swords. In my professional performing days, I would try tricks that many thought impossible, but I knew that there would be a way if I was creative in my approach to learning. To make my routines interesting and engaging, I had to think in new directions and be creative enough to always have the audience guessing (and laughing.)What If?
Imagine yourself finding a way to make a product or service even better. This is probably something you do every day. In your daily routines, I’m sure there are lots of things that frustrate you like toothpaste sticking to the sink or maybe your shoelaces constantly coming untied. Why couldn’t you be the one to solve these frustrations or even larger issues like world hunger? Imagine if the person who invented the umbrella had never taken the time to think about how to keep them self-dry when they had to run errands on a rainy day. To spark some creativity in yourself, look at something and ask yourself what if? This question can open your mind to think of other ways and new directions. You could find that new way of doing something that might help alleviate stress in your life, cure someone of a terrible illness, or more simply maybe just make you lots of money.*************************
MY DAILY JOTTINGS >>10/30—Had to find a place to park and sleep for the night. This is a very ritzy area, should be able to find somewhere easily.
This area, North Myrtle Beach, is very rich, I can tell. I finally found a place with the wall and no one behind it. As you know, I do not like to park and sleep directly in front of someone’s house, that just wouldn’t be right.
So, once again I am parked with mansions all around me. Yes, my million-dollar van strikes again. Yet these people who live in these multimillion-dollar homes only see their homes. Are you to go to the next place in the next place in the next place. I do like this lifestyle, I must say.
It is just after 7:00 pm. I will read for a while, and even think for a while ( do you ever do that?) As usual, I will get to sleep sometime between 10 and 11. Of course, I hope you have a fantastic sleep tonight.
Right now it’s about 10 p.m. at 9:13 I was bothered by some cops who were at my van. I had parked where there are no houses, but I guess someone called in and reported my van parked there. Anyway, the cops told me I had to move somewhere else. They said there was a Walmart nearby, so I went there.
A couple of times when the cops ask me, “So how much have you had to drink tonight?” I said nothing. Then I said, why the negative accusations? He said because your eyes look somewhat bloodshot. I said back, as you see I’ve been relaxing in my van, of course. I hate it when they go to the negative first thing.
Anyway, I did as they requested I’m at Walmart now. Noisy here, but every night comes it will get quieter and quieter. Goodnight now.
I would much rather wake up in a forest, but this will have to do. As I’ve written before, when I’m asleep in the van it does not matter where I am, my eyes are closed and my mind is off anyway.
Albert Lucas and I first met in 1976. He was traveling as a performing juggler with the Ice Capades. Albert is one who always aimed toward excellence, what is juggling, performing, and life.
Albert attributes of his success to his father, and his training thereof. A while ago Albert’s father died. This was a big blow to Albert and was hard to deal with.
Albert tells me he continues to work on juggling 14 rings, which would be a world record for the highest number of objects ever juggled. He has the drive, he has the confidence–HE WILL DO IT!
11-1—Parked at another library last night. Many have an electric outlet outside I can plug into, as I also get their wifi. So I charged last night and also this morning.
A strange feeling about my future. For the last month, I have had destinations to get to, now things are totally open. I will be going down to Florida, but a slow drive.
Looking at the map, I didn’t know what direction to go in. And I saw a little Congaree National Park in South Carolina, there is where I’m heading toward. If I remember right, not many go there, well, there weren’t many last time, anyway.
In my drive today, I must have passed 15 churches. You may know, I have never believed in any of the gods that humans invented.
A sign I saw said, “Believe now before it’s too late!” I hate this evil threat that, if you don’t believe, you will go to hell. And that it’s your fault you ended up there.
It’s simply this, I do not want to go to Hell, so it’s up to God at this point. If I end up in hell, it is because God sent me there.
At one of the cotton fields I was passing a stopped by and picked some cotton. Yes, I stole cotton! But, if they come up to me, I plan to tell them I picked it to show you. So, they might be coming after you!
I’m parked at Eastover, a town near the National Park. At the library now, using their Wi-Fi, and able to plug in if I need.
First I heard the cho-cho train horns as the engine approached. This is a long honk. I just hope it does not come through the night and wake me up. I’ll let you know later.
11/3—I’m the only one in the Garden City Library, another very nice place. On the drive, I went through Savannah, Georgia. This is an old city, and is ancient beauty shows. My daughter April and new husband Jake went here for their honeymoon, a great choice.
11/4—Drove through more of Savannah today, the Spanish Moss looks excellent. Is it true that all the moss was imported from Spain?
Went to another library today to get online, they were totally closed. I have found more and more libraries open and normal, so I am surprised.
I ducked into a McDonald’s, I could sit inside, get online and plug in! That makes me happy that some things are returning to normal.
Just because of its interesting name, I had to go visit Jekyll Island. The area is spectacular, I must say. More nice trees, more engrossing Spanish Moss. Right now I am at St Simons Library on one of the islands here. Right on the shore of the ocean, quite nice.
I’m lonely out here, I would love to hear from you.

MY CHALLENGE FOR YOU THIS WEEK >>This week, change your eating habits. Instead of just scarfing down your food, take a bite of your food, put down your fork or spoon, and to slowly – – feeling the texture and examining the taste. Do this for the whole meal.
If you do this, you’re sure to eat less. And, you will enjoy your meal more. Let me know how it turns out for you.

Perhaps it is from my 37-day coma in 1982, I never feel hungry, never feel full. In fact, I think I will be doing another fast (I do it real quick), the last time was for a week. This time I think I will go without eating for 2 weeks. I drink plenty of green tea, though.
Still heading south, to Myrtle Beach and Carolina Beach this week. Both places turned out very nice. Great to see Liisa, you will read more.

MY DAILY JOTTINGS >>10/23—I ended up parking next to a lake, very nice here. I am right at the water. I see all around me, what looks like, million-dollar homes. Yet, I have it better being right at the water. So, a million-dollar van?
10/24—Starting about 5:30am I began looking for the entrance for Smoky Mountain National Park. Going by GPS, it took me to a road that was not there.
For about two hours I was looking for the entrance. Being so early there was no one to ask how to find the entrance. I finally gave up and went south. But, I have been through this park before, so no big loss.
So, I was going to meet up with my friend, Liisa Tison-Pyke, on the 27th, so I had a few days to spent. Where to go, what to do?
When I was with Tommy Curtin he told me that the juggler, Slim Chance, who was performing in Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. So I called him and will be meeting with him tomorrow. A destination was discovered.
So, as you see, my days fill in.
For tonight, I found a library in Columbia, South Carolina, where I am parked in the back to sleep here tonight. Should be quiet and dark—the way I like it. Also, they have their wifi connection on, so, of course, I am online.
10/25—Connected with David Hirschi (stage name–Slim Chance.) He is performing at the Alabama Theater in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Here is the website for David >> http://therealslimchance.com
David and I talked much about juggling. He has been sort of an isolated juggler all of his life, therefore we really don’t know much about each other.
We talked about old jugglers we know, our old acts, and where we used to perform. A have a good conversation.
David told me he has a copy of my book, Juggling with Finesse.
So, I went to the Alabama Theater (https://www.alabama-theatre.com/) and David got me in on a comp through the marketing director, Abby Sher. Thank you so much for that, David and Abby.
A big stage, a big show—from 7-9pm the audience had great entertainment. The audience was mainly older folk, who seemed to really enjoy the show. Excellent dancers and singers were much of the show, David being the only variety act.
David told me they normally have busloads of people who come in for the show. Because of Covid, buses are not running now. I was surprised at the number of people who did show up, though. People were spread out through the seats—you know, social distancing and all.
About 15 minutes into the show David was introduced. He has a great Country Bumpkin character that the audience loved.
Starting off with small round saw blades that had a handle attached, the a 3 blade juggle. Then he threw every blade under each leg as he juggled, the audience was quite impressed.
5 ball juggling was next. Many great tricks, including a neck catch.
Through all this juggling comedy talking was intermixed. The audience loved his country accent. He played his character well.
Next up—a rubber chicken, along with a bowling ball and a ping pong ball was sent into the air. The audience loved the great comedy that was included throughout.
The 9 box stack was next. Using cigar boxes he did a balance on his chin with them. He handled this routine, and the audience quite well throughout.
David ended the act with an impressive combination trick while juggling.
Later in the show, David returned to do some great comedy with the MC of the show.
And, yet another act he did. Ventriloquism was introduced and the audience was in an uproar with his comedy. During this ventriloquist act, David also did a great 3 box routine.
Here is another film of David, enjoy.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkCpVrcOVA4Overall, a wonderful show. If you ever get to Myrtle Beach, go see the show at the Alabama Theater, you will be thoroughly entertained.
10/27—From Myrtle Beach, I took a short drive to see my old friend, Liisa Tison Pyke (yes, I spelled her name correctly.) I first met her brother, the excellent juggler, Dana Tison, in 1984 Las Vegas IJA juggling convention. Liisa was there, too.
Liisa and I and the wonderful sunrise
Here is Dana performing his excellent juggling >>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIxRtUJpj_g
Liisa had rented a place to stay for four nights, a nice place within walking distance from the beach. I was staying the nights in my van, we got together during the days.
Sharing Liisa’s life is John, her husband of 23 years, and their daughter, Gracie, who is 18. A wonderful life they live.
10/28—To the beach with us. Of course, we had to go in the water. Small waves, but very powerful, both coming in and going out. Seemed that the waves actually broke when they got right to the shore.
Perhaps because of my balance issues, four times my feet were swept out from under me and I fell into the water. I did want to go into the water, but on my terms. I had never had this happen before. Losing my control like that I did not like, at all.
Along with the beach, we went hiking at Carolina Beach State Park, a very nice place. Take a look >>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLGebsEf5bE
10/29—Before the sun made an appearance, we were at the beach, again, to see the sunrise. But, as you night now, the sun does not rise, the earth rotates toward the sun. Many others were down too, I am glad we went.
Funny watching birds as they flew along the shore. They seem to have a destination in mind, but I don’t think they do or did. Many passed by us.
10/30—Once again we went down to the beach to see the sunrise over the ocean. The clouds in the distance added to what we saw. You will see photos, but better is to see this daily phenomenon in person.
What a wonderful time Liisa and I had together for a few days. Our friendship crystallized even more. I am so glad I know Lovely Liisa.

My current goal is to get to Florida, here I go!Going south, I visited Shenandoah National Park. I love this area, I have been here a few times. I made sure I was there during the week, with fewer people, less traffic. Had a great campground to spend the night at, too. Then on to see my old juggling friend, Tommy Curtin.*************************WORDS TO INSPIRE YOU! >>Inspirational quotes and motivational sayings have an amazing ability to change the way we feel about life and can change our thinking. He was wondering if I was going to stop in Columbia, Maryland to see him.It was backtracking some, but I had to go. We went out and had a delicious lunch at an excellent Mexican Restaurant. We talked about old times and I tried to inspire him to get to juggling and performing again. I told him some ways to go about it and will be sending him books I have written on the subject. After that, it was off to the town of Front Royal in Virginia, the start of the drive down Skyline Drive through the park. Today is Saturday, and, as I got into FR traffic was way backed up with people going into the park. In fact, the roads all around Baltimore and DC are so crowded. When I got into FR I went directly to the library at 4:30, which was going to close at 5pm. I got sad, but found out they have a patio with an electrical outlet in the back of the library. This library is in the trees, and in the wilderness.Absolutely wonderful here.Tomorrow, Sunday, the library will be closed, but you will find me outside on my computer starting early. I even think I will stay out of the park tomorrow, too, because of the crowds, I will arrive on Sunday or Monday. On a different subject, I just read an article that said 71% of a study of Covid patients said they were constantly wearing a mask and still got it. You know how I hate to wear the facial covering, this proves my point that it is not necessary. You have to remember, Covid is not a death sentence. Just look at Trump, he recovered well.Tucker Carlson said on his show, “In other words, almost everyone, 85%, who got the coronavirus in July was wearing a mask, and they were infected anyway,” Carlson lamented, as Fox reported. “So clearly, this doesn’t work the way they tell us it works. Clearly, someone’s been lying to us — many people, actually.”Scientists who study viruses wear a suit where no air can get in and none out. And, we are trusting these little masks? The “Control” of humans is getting too big and I do not like it. I only where the facial covering when it is mandatory. Many times, like when I see someone driving alone in a car with a mask on, I want to ask them, “Are you concerned about getting sick, or scared of dying? Seems that most had one because others do.Tonight I will stay parked at the library, in the woods, and sleep. I like this area much, I may stay here all day tomorrow and go to the park on Monday. I will let you know.10/18—11pm—I saw a flashlight looking around outside, then came a knock on the van door. An officer was here asking questions. We connected well and had a good conversation. He said I could stay and sleep parked here at the library. The next day, as I awoke at the library, it was so calm, quiet, and nice, this gave me a smile. Later, after they opened, I asked the librarian if they had any books on juggling, she said no.I told her about and showed her a copy of my book, Juggling with Finesse, and she bought one for the library. Now that I have copies, picked up from my daughter’s house, I should be able to sell them quickly.Spent all day at the library charging my things up and reading news articles. But, it was cold today. Winter is on the way, I really need to get down to Florida.Started out today at the library once again. And said the library I can get online, so that’s a good thing. Then it was off to Shenandoah Park. Skyline drive takes you all through the park at the top of the mountains. So much beauty, hard to take in.Good thing I waited until Monday to come here, the crowds even today were pretty big. This is the third time going through this park. In the past, I just drove through. Today, I just did some hiking and saw some other sites.I’ll have to find out, but I think millions come to the park every year. It’s kept very nice, if you get a chance, you must come to see.10/20—Spend last night at Big Meadow s Campground. Being a Monday, not many people here. When I signed up for a spot, the guy put me in the handicapped camping spot, because I have a disability pass and get half off for a campsite.Last night I made a very big fire, the spot I’m on is flat and nice and near a bathroom, I could live here forever. And, right before I went to this campground I went to another one, there are three deer walking around the campground, so good to see. You will see the dainty deer in the photo. The campground had drinking water so I filled up my containers. I have seven one-gallon containers. Also, they have the shower available, so I did. A happy boy am I.Yesterday I did the hike to Compton Peak, not a lot to see, but I enjoyed it, much. Today, I hiked up to Dark Hollow Falls. About 2 miles each way and the path was rocky and some places, which, as you know, I do not do well on.As I was starting this hike I saw the rocky terrain and almost turned back. But then I thought of you and had to bring you photos, so I continued. For the hike in I forgot to make a walking stick staff. So, before I started back I made one. Yet, I saw a woman hiking who was having trouble, so I gave her mine and she was joyful with the stick to help her walk.I like a good challenge, although, I am careful. Even with the stick, I was using to help with balance, on some small boulders, I took a fall. Scraped my arm and hurt my shoulder and wrist. But, I’ve been through worse.Near the end, as I was getting into the parking lot, I saw a woman who might need to help walking, so I gave her my stick. She seemed overjoyed. She said, “Don’t you need it?I said, “No, I’m almost home.It came out so naturally.I explained to them that I live in my van and that is my home. What surprised me, was even out in the wilderness here, there were people who would not even look at you. As I was walking by them I would say things like, “Really?”, or “Oh no, another unfriendly”. I did not wait for a response. I just think life is much better if you are friendly—as I hope you are.10/21—I came to see my old friend in Tennessee, Tommy Curtin. At age 79, now, he is looking great. Living with his wife of 57 years, Mary, in Bristol Tennessee, I had to come and see him. At age 79 now, he is doing great. We talked of old juggling things. And people from the past. Tommy learned to juggle at age 12, and have been hey juggling performer all his life.He did do a few other things like you started in and ran a movie theater for some years. But mainly, juggling has been his life.Learn about Tommy here >>and here >>Having started juggling at the age of 12, this soon became his joy in life. Before long he put a show together and started doing shows around town. Eventually, he went on to perform all around the world.Along with on stage performing his juggling, Tommy also put on ice skates and performed his act with Holiday on Ice. His first performing, he took to the ice in South America with the show at the age of 22. He eventually returned to South America three more times.Right now I am at a McDonald’s on the wifi and plugged into power my computer. This is the first McDonald’s in months that I could sit in. Life is getting back to normal? A good thing.I’m lonely out here, I would love to hear from you.Either through Facebook or email, kitsummers@gmail.com*************************MY CHALLENGE FOR YOU THIS WEEK >>Set Three Big Goals for Yourself this Week. From my book series, “Beyond Your Potential” >>When I am setting goals for myself, I always try to make sure that I go slightly above and beyond what I think my maximum potential is. That is, I constantly challenge myself to do more, yet am satisfied with a series of small victories.Your goals are always changing and growing, use small goals and steps towards your greater goal should be just beyond your reach.Do the WorkWithout having a clear goal in your mind, you can find it difficult to decide what to do next. It takes much work to figure out your goals and desires in life. Many people don’t take the time or effort to figure out what it is they really want in life.If you want success, you must work. Setting goals and planning your path might very well be the most rewarding work that you will do in your life.Remember, a goal is something we truly want to do, something very important to us. Goals are essentially making plans that allow progress.I hope you would agree with me that we all should continue to advance ourselves and make progress in our lives.Congratulate YourselfRemember to applaud yourself for every effort you make, regardless of the outcome. When you praise yourself, you are putting positive thoughts into your mind which will undoubtedly boost your self-esteem and help you to continue making progress on your goals. Each goal that you achieve should help to bolster your self-confidence and confirm the belief you the abilities to continue making progress in your life.***********************NEXT BLOG>>Continuing to drive toward Florida along the east coast. WORDS TO INSPIRE YOU! >>
Inspirational quotes and motivational sayings have an amazing ability to change the way we feel about life and can change our thinking. This is why I find them so interesting and important on the path to joy and happiness. This is no secret.
So what’s the secret of inspirational quotes?
1) Intending to inspire someone.
2) Having recognized our own need to be inspired.
Inspiration >> The process of being
mentally stimulated to do a certain thing.

MY DAILY JOTTINGS >>10/10-12—Slept every night while parked at the Lititz library, very quiet, made for a nice slumber.
Went to another laundromat, nice to have clean clothes.
10/14—I’ve not been writing in this in that there is not much happening. My daughters are extremely busy, so I only spent a little time with them. Mary Ellen and I got together one evening, that was nice.
After past work on the van my horn and cruise control have not been working. I hardly ever use my horn, just as a warning, but mu cruise I use all the time.
I returned to see Dave, who did more excellent work on the van, very happy I am. Right now it is running excellent. Tomorrow morning I will go to see a body shop who will do some work on the outside. Quite pleased I am.
Needed fuel for the van, as, as usual, found a Costco because of their low price. Still amazes me that they have a horse barn for their Amish customers.
For tonight, I found a small local park to park at. I am right on the grass, so, of course, did some juggling. I must make time more often to throw stuff. At this point my juggling is not getting better, not getting worse, just maintaining.
Bored, not me. I have almost 100 books to read, as well as writing this for you.
10/5—Driving through the southern part of Delaware, it is just fabulous. North by Wilmington is much run-down and looks bad, down here is nice.
Into Maryland with me. I found North-East branch library, which is closed, but their wifi is working, so here I am. And, with my battery charger, I can be on many hours.
At one of the food banks I received a Taco “Kit” (me?), as you see from the photo. It is 12:10 now and I will eat in a couple of hours. I am not consuming much food, but feel healthy.
Aiming for Shenandoah National Park now. Today is Thursday, if I keep going I would be there on the weekend. So, I will be taking my time getting there so that I avoid the weekend crowds.
This park is quite beautiful, I’ve been there a few times before. You will like the photos I will be taking.
4:30—Now I’m down the road at a very big library that is buried in the forest, very nice here. This is where I will be for the night. At most all libraries you can get their wifi out in the parking lot, as I am now.
As I am driving I am charging my battery charge (what I power my laptop with when it’s battery runs low.) This is good for another five hours, so plenty of power I get while driving.
I put my shower bag out on the hook I have on the roof of the van to get hot. To remind you, there is a clear side and opposite the clear side is black, so it makes the water quite hot in a short time.
It’s been a few days, even I think I need a shower. Not that I am around anyone enough to smell me, and, frankly, I really don’t care. It is when I get too itchy, then I get under the water.
10/16—A rainy day today. All of the libraries in the area are closed to having people come inside, you can just call and then come by to pick up books. So, no where to hide under cover out of the raid. But, I am safe in the van.
I’m lonely out here, I would love to hear from you.
