    INTRO TO THIS WEEK >>
Once again, not much has happened this week. I do want to get back on the road, and I thank Cindy for letting me live in my van while parked in her drive.
For 74 weeks I have written to you and not missed a week–but, I miss hearing from you–would you, please?
When I am on the road, I mainly connect to charge up my computer and electrical and wifi at libraries, but, because most libraries are closed, I am stuck. Hoping they will be opening soon.

In this post, I am still hoping to inspire you and I am including some nice photos from past travels  — enjoy.

    WORDS TO INSPIRE YOU! >>
Inspirational quotes and motivational sayings have an amazing ability to change the way we feel about life and can change your thinking. This is why I find them so interesting and important on our paths to happiness.

So what’s the secret of great quotes?

You see, the way you think and feel about yourself, including your beliefs and expectations about what is possible for you, determines everything that happens in your life. It all derives from your quality of thinking.

When you change the quality of your thinking, you change the quality of your life, sometimes instantly. Just as positive words can make someone smile, and/or, a well-timed humorous quote can make someone laugh, our thoughts react to the world in real-time.

    Think right—always.

You have complete control over only one thing in the universe — your thinking –
and that’s where motivational quotes come in! Self-talk is so important—THINK RIGHT!
I hope the words I pick do help you.
    ==============

Be inspired by these words >>
    1. Accomplish
“He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.”
    —Muhammad Ali
“You can have anything you want if you want it badly enough. You can be anything you want to be, do anything you set out to accomplish if you hold to that desire with singleness of purpose.”
    —Abraham Lincoln
“Here I am . . . wanting to accomplish something and completely forgetting it must all end—that there is such a thing as death.”
    —Leo Tolstoy
    2. Action
“Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do.”
    —Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
“Do you want to know who you are? Don’t ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you.”
    —Thomas Jefferson
“The path to success is to take massive, determined actions.”
    —Tony Robbins
    3. Ambition
“Ambition is the path to success. Persistence is the vehicle you arrive in.”
    —Bill Bradley
“Ambition is enthusiasm with a purpose.”
    —Frank Tyger
“A man’s worth is no greater than his ambitions.”
    —Marcus Aurelius
    4. Believe
“Believe it can be done. When you believe something can be done, really believe, your mind will find the ways to do it. Believing a solution paves the way to solution.”
    —David Joseph Schwartz
“Be brave to stand for what you believe in even if you stand alone.”
    —Roy T. Bennett
“Believing in yourself is not for you; it’s for every person who has touched your life in a significant way and for every person your life will touch the same way five minutes from now, or five centuries from now.”
    —Jaye Miller
    5. Clarity
    “Clarity precedes success.”
    —Robin Sharma
“A lack of clarity could put the brakes on any journey to success.”
    —Steve Maraboli
    “Clarity affords focus.”
    —Thomas Leonard
    6. Challenge
“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”
    —Martin Luther King, Jr.
“The key to life is accepting challenges. Once someone stops doing this, he’s dead.”
    —Bette Davis
“I don’t run away from a challenge because I am afraid. Instead, I run towards it because the only way to escape fear is to trample it beneath your foot.”
    —Nadia Comaneci
    7. Commitment
“Once you have commitment, you need the discipline and hard work to get you there.”
    —Haile Gebrselassie
“Commitment is an act, not a word.”
    —Jean-Paul Sartre
“Commitment is what transforms a promise into a reality.”
    —Abraham Lincoln
    8. Confidence
“Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.”
    —Helen Keller
“Self-confidence is the memory of success.”
    —David Storey
“Without self-confidence, we are as babes in the cradle.”
    —Virginia Woolf
    9. Courage
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
    —Winston Churchill
“Courage is the most important of all the virtues because, without courage, you can’t practice any other virtue consistently.”
    —Maya Angelou
“Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear—not absence of fear.”
    —Mark Twain
    10. Dare
“Failures are made only by those who fail to dare, not by those who dare to fail.”
    —Lester B. Pearson
“Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in the grey twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.”
    —Theodore Roosevelt
“Dare to dream, but even more importantly, dare to put action behind your dreams.”
    —Josh Hinds

Not much to write about this week, still in Boulder (I do like it here.) Cindy is still letting me park in her driveway and live in my van, although I am in her residence most of the day helping to advance the place. Today I did much painting.

Because I’ve not been traveling, I am including some past photos—enjoy.

I hope to get out to the wilderness as soon as possible.

    MY DAILY JOTTINGS >>
6/14Last night Cindy and I went to see an event at https://www.circuscollective.com/ in Denver. A bunch of cars arrived with Circus performers. Some rigging was set up outside, and the performance started.

Mainly female performers, Cindy even got up there and did some good juggling; the audience loved it.

One guy was out giving a long talk on how black lives matter. Of course, black lives matter, I never thought they didn’t.

I am commenting right now on how a group of rich white people was out there demonstrating and there were only a few dark-skinned people–seemed quite ridiculous to me.

Why did they not invite many of their dark-skinned friends out to be with them? I care about people, much, no matter their skin color.

In fact, I did not even know that black lives mattered or not — they are humans — that is all I care about.

This new BLM political party grew so big and so fast, I do not think it is necessary–we are all people.

6/15-19—Not much happened this week, as I wrote. I helped Cindy with improving here abode, did a lot.

    MY DAILY JOTTINGS >>
4/6/20Went to Elkins lake, right next to Rocky mountain national park. That’s night, once again, I slept parked right by the lake, very nice.

Then, it was off to the Park. When I first went in, I saw a large pond with people looking at something. I soon saw that they were two big mooses (or is it “Meese”?) in the lake eating stuff from the bottom.

What a great opening site to this wonderful national park. After a while, many people started showing up at the park, time for Kit to depart.

I spent a few hours driving around the park. I’ve been here before, but always something new to see. I took many photos, hope you like. I even juggled snowballs! Also, I did some hiking out in the wilderness, as you know, something I like, much.

From there, because it was a nice day, I returned to Pearl Street Mall. After parking, and about a block away, I saw a gathering of people. Hoping was a performing juggler, I quickly went over.

It was a Black Lives Matter gathering. I’ve been seeing gatherings of people all over the world, what are they accomplishing? This is a gathering of hundreds of people.

It worthy cause, but I think better would be, “Human Lives Matter”. What I saw there were hundreds of white people acting as they care. Out of a crowd of hundreds, I saw only about 6 dark skin people.

I don’t like “black or white”, I’m kind of reddish myself. And people we call Black are often dark brown. We are all people, humans that is. I do not care about color, I care about people’s attitudes and the way they carry themselves.

There were some dark-skinned speakers and all the white folk who were watching and clapping and yelling. Once again, the group mainly was a light-skinned privileged crowd applauding for anything. Thinking they are making a difference?

Many people carried signs, many not even knowing what the sign means. I went up to one person and spoke with an accent, I asked, what does it mean “Matter”? This person didn’t seem to have any idea. She was just playing the part.

Discovered most all these people are under 30 years of age, many didn’t know what kind of point they’re trying to make.
Another person had a sign with the words “Defund Police”, did she know what that really would mean?!

Then about eight of these white people got mad at me for asking questions. They gathered around me and started asking me questions. This was an angry mob, it scared me.

Then the entire group went on a march through the area with signs and also yelling at people. For a peaceful march, these people seemed quite hostile.

Another person had a sign with the words, “Homeless People Matter”. I wanted to go up to this person and ask them if they have ever had a homeless person over for dinner? Or, have they invited any homeless person to stay the night?

As I said, this looked like a bunch of young rich white people trying to prove a point. Although, anger seemed to be obvious.

On their march, a guy would yell, “Show me what democracy looks like?” Then the crowd will repeat back, “This is what democracy looks like!” These, “followers”, we’re just saying words without meaning, like they couldn’t think for themselves.

They also got together after the march. One person yelled, “We will continue to fight, black people we love you, we are sorry.” I see, sorry for what? I must repeat, these were just a bunch of prevailed angry Caucasians.

If they really meant what they were saying they would have invited a large group of dark-skinned people to join them for the day?

Like I said I went up to the front and started asking questions. They tried to chase me away or close me down. I was being friendly, but the hatred they were showing was very strange. The anger they displayed was much. Because I did not “fit in” with them and their thoughts, they did not want me anywhere near. I stayed and tried to reason with some of them.

One guy started asking me why I was asking questions and what the hell was I doing there. Off the top of my head, I said I was a writer with a newspaper in San Diego and doing the story on the gathering.

They calmed down a little bit, but still, were quite angry. I fully backed out and went along my way. Are these demonstrations happening worldwide? After I wrote, a scary group it was.

6/8Staying around Boulder, mainly. My friend Daniel Powell was in the Boulder area! So, Daniel, Stacy, Cindy, and I went up to a local wilderness area and did some hiking and spent some time. We all went for a long walk and all liked it much.

6/12Cindy and I went to the local Boulder Reservoir. Cindy brought her boat and we each went for a boat ride, nice. There were some Geese in the area, with some goslings, too. What a fun time it provided.

    MY DAILY JOTTINGS >>
6/2–Cindy and I did make it out to see some wilderness today. Eldorado Canyon State Park, somewhat near to Boulder, yet another world altogether.
We spent a few hours hiking around, saw some great sites. Take a look here to learn more of this fantastic place >>
There is much good mountain-climbing in the park. In fact, I did some mountain climbing myself, but did not need any climbing gear, that four-foot mountain was safe and easy to get to the top.
6/4–Cindy was out for a run-walk, a couple came to her front door. They seemed friendly and I thought they were friends of Cindy’s. Because of his new beard, I could not recognize my old friend, Daniel Powell. Cindy returned after a short time and we all had a good talk.

    INTRO TO THIS WEEK >>
No wilderness this week, darn. I really miss being out in the woods and around animals.

It seems that, when I am not traveling, time seems to go much slower.

This mask thing is really bugging me. It has grown so big, to me, it is really unnecessary. I see people out in the open air, like in parks, with masks on. I think there or even people who were the masks at their home when no one else is around (perhaps even sleeping with their dumb little mask on?)

    What comes next?
Each of us in a little glass bubble?

I don’t like the way the world has changed. I have no fear of death, are people really scared they will die so they wear a mask?

As you would know, I love life and want the best for people. We are all going to die, anyway, I am prepared for it, our official death, which will come to each of us, you included, sorry to say.

I wrote the Beyond Your Potential series to go beyond inspiration and positive thinking. These books provide direct guidance to help improve your state of mind and body, your relationships, and the understanding of others in order to achieve the success and quality of life you desire and deserve.

It is my belief, through experience, that every person on Earth is capable of attaining great heights of happiness and fulfillment, even if they have experienced loss and trauma and have faced seemingly insurmountable obstacles. I am living proof of that.

In this series, I challenge you to thoroughly scrutinize your life so that you can clearly analyze where you can make improvements and also monitor the progress you are making toward your life’s goals.

The larger message that I bring to you is how to make my experience meaningful in your own life—how you can set and achieve significant goals for yourself to reach a higher level in your life.

    IN THESE BOOKS,
I WANT TO HELP YOU MOVE UP THAT LADDER OF YOUR LIFE,
    HIGHER AND HIGHER.

Motivation does not last, but neither does eating a meal. Just as we need regular sustenance for our bodies, our minds also require regular positive nourishment in order to keep moving forward.

Motivation takes perseverance and we begin to achieve steps toward our goals, our motivation increases. These books provide the support and inspiration through my story, experience and suggestions that can begin that spark of inspiration that can turn into motivation.

When you focus on motivating others, it, in turn, motivates you.
These books are not meant to be solely an instruction manual. I would like you to use a combination of my ideas and mix it with your own strategies to formulate a plan of action that works best for you. Reading these books is only the first step. You are the one who has to commit to your plan and see it through.

I URGE YOU TO START UPGRADING YOUR LIFE IMMEDIATELY.

Success means different things to different people. Anyone can be successful. Everyone wants to be. The problem is that some people think they can achieve success without changing their habits, their perspective, and their actions. The truth is success equals change and those that are willing to make the necessary changes open themselves up to infinite possibilities.

As you might know, many people just do what is required to get by and slide through life, while missing out on countless opportunities and possibilities available to them every day. In this book series, you will learn to use your eyes, and see those opportunities with the understanding that action equals success. This book is written to help you clean your brain out to find the success that is waiting for you. Life takes work.

I HATE TO SEE LIVES WASTED.

There will be many barriers along your way. Determination is a key to obtaining the success you desire. Determination does not always mean sticking it out until you accomplish what you want. It means giving your full and undivided attention to whatever you are trying to achieve at the time.

Great athletes, musicians, jugglers, and smart thinkers become dominant because they can focus and remain focused for extended periods.

    MY DAILY JOTTINGS >>
Nothing much to speak of this week. Yet, we did get out one day.
Monday, Memorial Day, Cindy and I went up Lefthand Canyon to Ward, Colorado. Then, on return, we went through Nederland and stopped by the lake, very nice it was.

Any chance I get, I try and get out to the wilderness, or even a local park.
Nature is so healing and good for you; get out every chance you can get.
This pet dog with Cindy is owned by Isaak, and this is a real wolf.
Originally from Russia, Isaak built his own home where we visited in Ward
